    I have a three hour drive ahead of me and I would normally listen to golf podcasts, but too depressing to hear about Rory’s choke job.  He finally was getting birdies in round 4 (when in contention going in) too.  

    Just played Wild Atlantic Dunes at Carne.  Try to fit this one in if you ever go to Ireland.  It is out of the way for sure, but you can also make the trip more economical and still play great courses by focusing on the Northwest.  

    All 18 holes were in the dunes.  It was incredible.

    Funny, here in the mid-Atlantic, I may not play golf for another month or two.  It's bloody hot.  Worse, because my fairways are bent and rough are fescue, we usually end up cart path only so even riding sucks.

    We have had rain solid since last year so finally the course is perfect . Shot 84 after my 79 . So been low 80s for last 4 rounds. I feel I'm getting near
