Had my first country club experience yesterday.  A friend's dad is a member at a local place and I somehow got the invite.  Had my own caddie and everything and it was pretty damn cool.  It was a really tough course....felt bad for the poor girl caddying for me having to chase my ball all over the place.

The 18th hole was a par 3 over water and everyone sits on the patio after their round watching people come in and making bets.  Was short of the green and almost chipped in for birdie...ended up with a par....not used to that many people watching me play! Probably not something I'll do many times in my life but definitely something I could get used to!

Shot 80 today. Current handicap now at 8.7.  Was 12.5 on Memorial Day. Hoping I can keep it in the single digits. Been my goal for the last couple years.

That’s some good golf right there. That was near my personal low index back in 2014. Lack of play never allowed me to keep it there. Enjoy the run and keep it going!

Thanks! I've only got 1 week of summer break left so I hope to make it count. Luckily the school I teach at is only 10 minutes from my golf course. Just got to stay committed to it.

I hope so! He's been so close so many times. Plus I have him in my weekly pool and on my Draft Kings team.

Happy for Colin. Had money on both him and Spieth. Nice little Sunday!

Treated myself to a pair of G/FORE golf shoes.  Holy shit these things are incredibly comfortable!  Could wear these as regular shoes...

I only wear Sqairz.  Got my hdcp down from 18.4 down to 17.6 since I bought them!  JK.  ;-)  I can't believe they claim those shoes will reduce your hdcp.  Seems like false advertising.  I could actually go for a new pair of golf shoes soon.  I put a lot of miles on mine.  I used to wear FootJoy Classics because they looked cool, but as I got older, realized they weren't very comfortable.

Fitting that it's that clown Faldo who promotes those shoes.  Check out GFORE....amazed at how comfortable these things are.
