Tiger looked fully in control off the tee yesterday.  Shaping it both ways and splitting fairways.  If he can continue to do that, I like his chances as well as anyone's.  Course knowledge around the greens = advantage Tiger.

For sure.  He was in complete control yesterday.  That tee grab on 7 I think....goodness.  Just saying, he could be a ways back by the time he tees off

A lot of players play unconscious though and get great scores in the first few rounds then pressure gets them and well, you know the rest.

I love watching these guys pull-hook the drive on Amen corner.  Now I don't feel so bad.  Pull is my miss.
  • Oh man watching Bryson lose a ball that was only 20 yards left of the green was quite enjoyable.

Quite pumped for my boy Corey Conners firing a blistering 65 in Round 2 and getting in contention and my golf hero Mike Weir making the cut at age 50.
Most impressive is Langer making the cut at 63. Oldest ever to make the cut at Augusta (by 33 days).

Exactly. Piss off, Bryson. I’m glad to see him getting humbled.

May be first masters that I don’t watch any of it.  Looks like a typical PGA tournament based on the scores and course conditions.  Bummer that it lost its teeth with the weather.

I’ll watch but it’s a shame that 20 under could be the winning score.

Eh, not too worried. It happens from time to time. Course is wet and too cold to dry out too much.

blast those subairs tonight and hopefully he comes back to the field.

    today was pretty boring though

You should have a look. Not that I like it without fans, but some of the camera angles give a new perspective to the course as they can get in where fans used to stand. It's really cool.

Yep.  Absolutely perfect conditions for scoring.  I really hope DJ holds on.  Still so crazy that he only has 1 major.

How about Rahm today with the topped 3 wood from the fairway and then hits a tree with his punch out and it goes OB???  Pro golfers are just like us!

Yeah I went with the pimento cheese sammy's today too. Also made the Azalea Cocktail for the fist time. Vodka, lemonade and grenadine. A bit sweet for my liking, but hey, tis the fucking season, right? Will be a decent start to the morning tomorrow, I'd imagine...

(also stocked up on a bunch of Tired Hands beers a few days ago!)
