LOVE having the option of watching the two feature groups or the network coverage tonight.

Fox ox is doing a bang up job here.
Fox has by far the best golf broadcast

Pick a winner after round 1

    glorious leaderboard

    I’m taking Xander
    Rory

This whole course setup controversy is starting to become manufactured.  Let's move on.  Talk about how the players played and not what the USGA did.

It’s growing on me, but nothing better than CBS.  Faldo, Miller, Maltbie, Pepper, Lundquist, Kostis...they have a legendary team of booth and on course broadcasters.  Notice I left out Nantz.  Oh...and it hosts my favorite tournament of the year by a long shot.

Could you imagine if anyone else did that??  For some reason Mr. 'Aw shucks" gets a free pass.  What a dick.

Add boy wonder to the list too. All douches are making moves up the leaderboard.

    Tiger playing for par today.

    Tiger playing for par today.
Doesn’t have to be too aggressive but he’ll need better than par today to really be in position.
  • bbiggsbbiggs Posts: 6,952
Par on 18 won’t get it done. Everyone else is taking advantage.

The 7th hole is just perfect.  So beautiful.

Wow. Good luck to your buddy man. He hasn’t shown the ability to close well, but I hope he gets it done for the $6K lol

Louis might be tough to beat. He can get it done. And if rose can ball strike like he’s capable of AND continue putting like this, no one will touch him. Should be a fun day!

It is still wide open at this point.   I think Woodland could close it out.  He has had a couple great 4th rounds with the lead only to be eclipsed by course record rounds to finish 2nd.   He still played well enough to win 90% of the time.

    Impressive stuff out of Woodland.

    Top 3 predictions in order:

    1.  Rose
    2.  Koepka
    3.  Woodland

Woodland saved par on miraculous shots/putts yesterday more than once. That won’t continue today.
  • bootlegger10bootlegger10 Posts: 16,030

I agree that Rose wins it.

Koepka is a beast out there.  Closest thing we have seen to Tiger's greatness (but only at the majors).  Even four back people are treating him as the favorite.

Woodland hanging on. This is set up for a great finish.

I should not play Pebble until I can get out of the sand.  If Justin Rose hits in the sand every other hole than I know I would every hole.
