  • I guess James and his dad ended up seeing the Carrie Underwood concert. They COMPLETELY FORGOT the PJ show was tonight!!!! There was another letter delivered via shoe to Ms. Underwood though, and she sang Alive as best she could....right.

Of course I'm completely just messing around. Congrats, fellas!!!

This story really hits home. I had a friend who just lost their life to leukemia. His little sister is #1 in the Livestrong virtual bike ride. http://www.livestrongaction.org/bike/christine-rides-for-nicholas-desocio. That's the link if you got a second to cheer her on.

but did ed dedicate Alive or Just Breathe?

He dedicated Just Breathe "even though it isn't what you asked for", but said "if we play Alive, that's for you, too".

    So happy for you, James!

Wow. I'm just about bawling crying reading this.
James - I've been following your thread for the past few days and am so thankful you got your wish!! My dad went through a brain tumor a few years ago (is fine now!!) but I know how emotional having a sick parent can be. Especially one you are so close to.
You sound like an awesome kid and so does your dad...I know y'all had an amazing time and am so glad other badass PJ fans got your letter to Ed!

    God Bless!

Like Sian and dottles first thing I did this morning was check the setlist thread for Alive and then to come here and read that Just Breathe was also dedicated ... perfect :D (and caused a lump in my throat  )

    Congrats James
