Idiot files a discrimination lawsuit for job advancement. How about not being the shittiest umpire in the league and maybe you'll get somewhere?!Indifference71 said:http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/20354481/ian-kinsler-detroit-tigers-rips-angel-hernandez-day-umpire-messing-baseball-games
This is great...and so true! Angel Hernandez is fucking terrible...how this guy still has a job is a mystery to me.
Good on Kinsler for calling him out. I can't stand these egotistical umps that want to make it about them instead of the game.

I don't think he gets any credit. he could've stayed in L A. and been a puppet. And sure he would be enjoying much more success. But I think it's more satisfying if you have more of your input in a successful team.Wobbie said:tempo_n_groove said:
Mattingly isn't getting any credit in LA right now so I do see your point.igotid88 said:
a couple of things concern me with Jeter running the Marlins. First. The fact that one day he might have to fire Mattingly. And if the Marlins win a World Series. If they had pitching. They could be contenders. Mattingly won't get the credit.tempo_n_groove said:
Maybe he's excited about having Jeter as an owner?igotid88 said:
Seriously though, he is killing it now.
mattingly will be a pedestrian manager, wherever he goes. if he hangs around long enough, he may get better.
guys like torre and larussa, tho? waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overratedI miss igotid880 -
So AL MVP now, who've you got?

I'd love to see these dumbass umps fined for the white wristbands of solidarity. You can't be as douchy as they've been and play the victim card. Compare the complaining in other major sports and they don't have a leg to stand on, especially since pretty much any schmuck off the street can do it.0

Anybody watching?
Even if you aren't interested please, please, please give Andrew McCutchen a watch. One of the better baseball players out there and doesn't get much exposure.0 -

Rich Hill has a no hitter in the ninth (had a perfect game going into the ninth). Game is scoreless though.
Mark Leiter Jr. has a one hitter for the Phills so far.
