I had to turn the volume off. Then I just turned the television off. Im sure some fans enjoy the interaction with the players. Im just not one of those fans.

Here's my comment on The Athletic:

The Fox presentation was horrible. The constant interviews with players playing in the game is an abject disgrace and adds literally nothing to the entertainment value. Something is going to go seriously wrong with this nonsense. The two OF's almost ran into each other while the stupid announcers are talking in their ears. The inning when they talked to the managers was the most boring thing I've ever seen, and I've watched plenty of soccer games people! The pregame stuff was inane and endless. Those hype guys (the wrestler kicker guy and someone else) were pathetic. And the commercials - I felt like I had no business watching this game without Type 2 Diabetes.

But that opera singer did a hell of a God Bless America - that was good!

    Go Schwarbs and Go Phils!

    I tapped out immediately

I was out for some of the night and only watched a few innings as well. (like the 4th and 5th). Had to get up at like 4 today for work so I went to bed early. When i woke up the next morning I checked the score and assumed it ended in a tie. Then I saw Schwarbs won MVP. So i checked the box score and saw that he went 0-2.  I was like how the hell did he win MVP?? I wasn't even aware there was a home-run swing off to see who won the game.

I recorded it and watched this morning. I knew what happened because I was following the last few innings on the way home. I liked seeing the comeback in the ninth and actually forgot this was going to be decided by a home run contest. I didn't hate it for this kind of event but certainly would never want to see it in a game that counts.

So the talking thing.  I think it could be cool and interesting but this was executed poorly.  Literally hes throwing a pitch and they are in his ear.  Didn't Skubal say"man this is weird"?  Like shut up while im in motion. Joe Davis I am not a fan...

I did like Kershaw asking what pitch he should throw from Smoltz.

I have went to both nights recently to watch the Halos play the Mets.  I wanted to see Trout get his 1000th RBI. Well, he has not done that...

I really wasnt to see the day game but w work it's tough... But I want to see history, maybe.  He had a great chance last night to do it in the 9th and popped it up.

Want to see something crazy?  Look at Judges stats and Trouts. They are the same age but quite a few AB's apart because of Judges late start.  Judge gets better and Trout is on a steady decline...

    Sad.

Trout's steroid breakdown is in full swing and Judge due to the late start hasn't begun his yet...probably soon.

1 game worse than the White Sox this point of the season and 2 games worse than the Athletics from 2023. The White Sox were in the midst of a 21 game losing streak

I agree. And his career has been rendered practically irrelevant by his choosing to stay with the Angels.

I know only 3 players have 2,000 RBI, so I think 1,500 is the sweet spot of greatness.
