Royce Lewis grand slam in back to back games. That kid is good if he can stay healthy, but he's  got some Buxton health luck.
Lewis hits his 3rd slam in 8 games. Twins pound the Indians.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I would love to see a rematch from the '83 World Series or even a rematch of the '93 World Series. With a different outcome of course

  • Trea Turner remembers how to hit.  Julio will become a member of the 30/30 club soon.  Where is Ohtani?  Halos winning without him.  Josh Jung still ROY or has his injury set up Gunnar for the award?

Please be a Braves/Orioles World Series.  PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!!

This would be optimal, yes!  I'd prefer my Cubbies sneak in if we don't choke away the next 3 weeks.  But I'm not gonna pretend like I don't know my team when it comes to Postseason baseball.

So the internet is good for something. Today I found out Pete Crow Armstrong's mom is the mom in Little Big League. She was made for this.
  • Olson has 50 damn homers.  Alonso another 40.  Jrod did his 30/30. Trea Turner remembered how to hit.

Hmmm. :| As a longtime A's fan I would like to think that if they end up moving to Las Vegas and start to get more revenue, that they will actually keep their good players. However I am also not delusional. John Fisher sucks.

I was definitely upset the Braves couldn't keep Freeman, but have been more than happy with Olson as his replacement. He just hit his 51st homer, tying the single season franchise record held by Andruw Jones. I always thought it was odd/amazing that Hank Aaron hit around 730 homers as a Brave, but never hit more than 50 in a season.

Acuña now 3 away from a 40/40 season. I'm betting he's just going to be swinging for the fences every at bat until he gets it.

Honestly, I have asked myself that question during this process, and probably not. I grew up taking BART to the Coliseum to watch games from the bleachers before the Raiders came back from LA and destroyed that. I haven't lived in the Bay Area since 1990 when I left for the Navy, so where they play their home games doesn't affect me much at all. However my Aunt lives a couple of towns South of Oakland and is a die hard fan. Through all of the BS that this ownership has pulled, she has been faithfully attending multiple games every year. She is devastated by the move, and talking to her about how much the team means to her and the sense of loss she is feeling, I just can't see myself continuing to root for them.  My hope is that the move falls apart which causes them to stay in Oakland, or the surrounding area, with an ownership change.

Dude, Freeman is an MVP candidate again.  He's killing it.

Acuna achieving 40/40 will be exciting.  I was hoping for Ohtani to do it but nope...  Jrod might be the next.

Yeah, that's why I was disappointed Atl couldn't hang on to him. But, it's not like they're playing some scrub instead. The business of it sucks as a fan sometimes.

I'm hearing, from a reliable source, that Fisher will be selling the team in short order and padding his bank account.
