Man the Phillies cannot do anything right at citifield. It’s incredible to see a ballpark have such a hold over a really great Phillies team.
Bader just got here and he threw the ball about 30' over the catcher's head.

Every groundball off Duran had fucking eyes.

The Braves have to be the most disappointing team this season, right?
This question really isn’t possibly to answer until the Mets collapse is complete.
Embarrassing. I’m over this season. Can’t watch anymore
Mets can go 50/50 the rest of the way and make a wild card Nick.
Team is done. But I appreciate the optimism
ahh the "i'm only a fan when things are going well".  my favorite fan types.  Lots of people in Philly who were 'done' with the Eagles and Phillies when things were going poorly who now proudly and unironically saying they've been fans for 40+ years.
Stupid post. Who said I’m not a fan. I said the TEAM is done. Did I say I was done. I can’t complain about my team? Is there no complaining in the Phillies thread? Jeez. When I watch this team I’m seeing a team that has a bigger problem than just scoring runs / giving up runs. I get the sense that they won’t compete this year, hence team is done. That’s my opinion. It’s hard to watch a team find different ways to lose every night. So yea, can’t watch anymore. If I don’t watch every game am I not a fan? Crazy

the fact that I have to explain this to other sports fans is insane.
Back now after that series?  Mets went 21-34 I think I saw with risp this series.  Are you kidding me?  How can they suck against everyone else but kick the shit out of the Phillies at Citi Field?  Phils are a completely different team in that ballpark.

It's a rivalry.  Just like when the Jets would beat New England and suck against everybody else.

The Mets play differently against them.

No explanation for how awful the Mets played for most of the time after the all star break. No explanation for how shitty the Phillies are at Citi field. That’s sports. One thing I can say is Nolan McLean is the real deal. Exciting to see him pitch.

And tonight it’s Tong Time. If both of these kids are the real deal that’ll one hell of a one two punch. McLean looks impressive.

what’s “a maddux”? complete game, less than 100 pitches?

well, verlander threw 121 in five innings yesterday but struck out 10, didn’t allow a run and got the W. 👍

6 RBI today…. Everyone is lucky this Mets team has no starting pitching. That will change in the very near future. I think it’s time for even the most bitter fans to stop with the Soto shit talk.

Best gem he threw was like 78 pitches and yes under 100 is called the Maddux.

OK so I am noticing that you have to buy "event" tickets to an MLB game to get the promotion now.  Do they charge you more for that ticket?  These used to be promo giveaways.

    I am curious now.

The Angels were pretty good in the 5 or so years before Trout got there. He probably had no idea he’d be playing for such a shit team.

    Giants:

shit stuff, they give away but they’ve cut down the available items.

“good” stuff (still shit), you have to buy a $pecial ticket.

Yamamoto had the 8,9 and 1 hitters to get out and couldn’t do it.

    Wow.

Imagine being on fire for 8 innings and falls part the last.  Damnnnnn
