Since games are going to be shorter. Ballparks with big crowds might need to hire more concessions stand workers. Some of these lines take a couple of innings before the pitch clock

I wonder if shorter games translates to lower food concession revenue?

Did they think of that before enacting the pitch clock?

Yes they looked at the effect (or lack thereof) in the minor leagues.

That would be today's Los Angeles Dodgers.

I'm sure if there's any kind of non-negligible loss that they'll just hike the prices accordingly.

4 Brooklyn players got married in the offseason before 1888 and the team became the Brooklyn Bridegrooms. There you go.

Bring your own in, I do and refill at the water fountain.  I hardly bother with a beer in the park anymore.  Hot dog and nacho though? Yes Please.

warren spahn and juan marichal once went toe to toe in a scoreless tie for 16 innings…spahn lost 1-0 to a willie mays homer…marichal threw 227 pitches. guys today are such pussies.

here’s a crazy stat….spahn won 363 games; marichal won 243….they both have more COMPLETE GAMES than victories. gerrit cole has led the AL in two years with two. two! again, these guys are pussies.

don’t even get me started on “calf strains.”
