Verlander is a freak. His 119th pitch in the 8th inning just clocked at 99mph. Unreal how this guy gets stronger as the game goes on.
It's an absolute pleasure watching him work week after week.

I'm sure it is. I feel the same way about Chris Sale....so happy he is pitching today. Sox need a win big time.

It's strange watching the Pittsburgh Pirates playing in front of a sold out home crowd against the Marlins and winning. The Nationals are winning too what has happened to baseball in the National league?

The bottom of the barrel is rising.

Cubs broadcast is tremendous. They have been talking about the in's and out's of framing pitches for two full innings. Love it

I saw an interview with him...maybe a week or so ago I guess it was...he said he dials it back early in the game so he can crank it up as the game goes on.

will be interesting to see what they gave up. NL is wide open this year.

If theo lands Delgado and Zach Lee for Dempster/Garza that will be a minor miracle. He's gonna turn the cubs around quickly. I think they sign hamels this offseason

Deal not yet finalized would be Randall Delgado. I would be happy with that.

DJ Mitchell and Danny Farquhar. Not much. I like DJ Mitchell. Will be interesting to see where they bat Ichiro.

Here you go on Mitchell. Yankes 17 ranked prospect. I like him, but it's tough for a player like that to stick on the Yankees.

D.J. Mitchell, RHP, 25 (12) — has been used sparingly in several big league stints, but he’s very quietly put up his best strikeout (7.6 K/9 and 19.7 K%) and walk (3.0 BB/9 and 7.9 BB%) rates with Triple-A Empire State since his first pro season in 2009
