    I did not see Houston's bats falling asleep like this. Philly is an absolute beast.

    ah ok, yea never understood that notion.  i think home runs are huge to winning in the playoffs. against these pitchers how many big hit rallies you gonna have?

    I love that the "cheater" chants were so loud at Bregman that the Joe Davis and Smoltz had to acknowledge it. Smoltz was like "Well I don't think they're calling for the heater."

    Yes, at least direct it at the right players. I saw them play in KC earlier and the fans behind us were calling Pena a cheater. I turned around and asked them if they realized that he was in high school in 2017. LOL

    I respect how you've handled this around here since the scandal was made public. Many fans would be so defensive and argumentative, but you rightfully have accepted the Astros' label of being cheaters, you offer no defenses because it's not defensible, and you just to continue to cheer your team and let the haters hate.

    Thanks, I appreciate that. There is nothing I can do about what they did and it pissed me off just as much as the rest of you, if not more. I've always loved baseball & they've always been my team & they always will be. It's not always easy or fun, but it is what it is.

    That's one way to bounce back. What a game - Javier was on fire & the bullpen locked it down. Huge game tonight.

    And I agree on Smoltz - the guy is very chatty. I turned off the fox broadcast and streamed the Astros radio broadcast after 2 innings.

    Joe Davis is 1000x better than hew was in the FOD game. He has restored my faith.

    and the funny thing about that is the connections. Dusty Baker was the manager for the Reds in the second postseason no-hitter in 2010 by Halladay.     3-2 Astros.  Wow, what a damn game.  Verlander FINALLY gets a win.  Does he flip off the Philly fans again?

    Should have been a bigger score but that Philly infields defense is amazing.  Bregman isn't any slouch either.  Dude can field.
