If you are a gamer, I recommend MLB The Show 19. Probably the best sports sim I’ve played in five years. They are several modes that make games short or put you in key spots late in the game that make for fun short matchups if you don’t have the time for franchise mode.

I’m trading in my Xbox one for a PS4 just to get this game.

I really wish it wasn't Playstation exclusive. RBI is getting better, but it's still a long ways off.
Love how the Astros are playing right now. The bats have finally started to wake up and I’m looking forward to watching the series against Seattle.
Little better than when the Yanks came to town around this time last year...ugh
That series was brutal last year. I know it's very early in the season, but it was good to see the Astros bats come alive. I have a feeling we'll be meeting in the postseason again.

Same here. I love the xbox, but this is a dealbreaker for me. Time to swap out the systems!
use “strike zone” camera view for hitting. You need patience to get hits and this view makes it easier to read pitches. Hitting is a challenge but seems fair.
”stubs” (the currency for the game) is easy to make by flipping equipment. Sony will let you buy 150K stubs for $100 real money but I’ve easily made over 200K stubs in less then two weeks flipping socks and batting gloves. Items under 3K usually turn over quick in the market ... a lot faster than player cards do.
Importing your own music will keep you from going nuts listening to the same game tracks over and over.
Thats is it for tips as I’m still learning the game.
I feel bad for the guy, but Chris Davis hit less streak might be the most interesting thing going on. Very well could be a record that never gets broken.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

I feel bad for the Orioles paying him all that money; he is just terrible. At the same time, they dug their own hole.

I use "Zoom" for hitting and have always felt that gives you the best view to read pitches. I've been playing this game every year since 2008 so if you need any Dimond Dynasty tips (building your roster, how some guys are better than others despite their ratings, etc.), or in-game tips in general, feel free to ask. I don't know anything about "Road to the Show" though. Never had much interest in it.

Tiger winning the masters has really put you in a bad mood ...
Meanwhile for Jason P, Tiger won the Masters, Game of Throne kicked off, and the new MLB video game kicks ass. Life is good.
The Name of the Wind is a favorite. So fucking good. Wish I could erase my memory and read again. Some of those others I have read and enjoyed, as well. I don't game any longer but used to love playing sorts games with my friends. When Wobbie was young Pong wasn't even on the radar yet, he doesn't understand.
