I wouldn’t say he’s a no doubter but his stats are considerably better than some already in. I bet performing well and behaving professionally for so many teams will help him out quite a bit. The main moment I remember with him is watchin a Wainwright curve sail by, but he always brought it in the postseason and played well after busting his ribs against the Redsux. Hardly remember particular plays...I know he had a walk off and had a huge outfield assist in the NLCS.

Hell of a career for Beltran.
He will be just shy of the Hall. He was great in the post season.
I agree. Had a hell of a  career, though, He'd be in the Hall Of Very Good.

Bumgarner will take his 3 WS rings over Cy’s.

both of this year’s Cy winners kinda sucked in the postseason. most of them do.....except for lincecum.

    MadBum....postseason legend.

Altuve wins A.L. M.V.P. He wins by a landslide. I don't know about that. Vote should have been closer.

  • If they were going to give it to a guy with a losing team Votto should have won.  Thought it would be a landslide for Goldie.

He definitely deserved the award, but I thought it would be closer as well.

If Stanton, a HR guy barely won the MVP vote then Judge should have had way more consideration.

There is a lot of hate for him and the yanks in the voting apparently...

He was 2nd on basically every ballot.  I am fine with that.

I thought Altuve was getting MVP too but cmon, at least 1 FP vote for judge at least?

Yeah, it sucks as a Braves fan, but I can't argue with that punishment. Funny that after it was announced, a lot of fans were saying Maitan (prize signing of all those players) is overrated and it's ok that he's now a free agent. #Barves

Still some good talent in the minors, but a couple of those players had pretty high expectations.

Marlins trade Dee Gordon to the Mariners. Next will be Stanton. Probably to St.Louis or San Fran.

Yeah, he'll probably be a Bust now. But, if he went to the NYY , he probably would've ended up in the HOF.

Was kind of hoping for a miracle and he would've signed with the Padres.

I wonder how the Angels plan to use him?(as far as hitting & pitching)

Cards are out on Stanton. Hope they go after Ozuna and Yelich. Hope they stay away from most of the others names that have been rumored.

I am VERY happy that the Angels got him.  Shocked a little too!

So look for the Angels to make another big move here in the offseason.  No way you get Ohtani and not go for another player.
