david ross is doing the sunday night game...cubs/cardinals...espn had a poll on best baseball rivaliries....ross has been on one or more sides of 5 of 7.
they asked ross for the best...."not even close....giants/dodgers....players hate each other....fans hate each other"
damn straight....d**ger fans are the fucking worst.
Has anyone gotten more leverage out of being a shitty baseball player than David Ross?
Shark. A decade of sub .500 records and 4+ ERAs and gets paid like he's god damn Justin Verlander.
Pujols has been nothing but a class act his entire career. A model of consistency and, with the exception of 2013, has stayed injury free his entire career. He will definitely go down as one of the greatest of all-time. He's top 3 in my lifetime, no doubt. (Bonds, Arod - like 'em or not)
That Astros team is fun to watch. They are firing on all cylinders right now and making it look so natural. They keep up the offense and Keuchel keeps pitching on the level he has, we might see our first 25 game winner since Bob Welch. I'd love to see it!
I see the despicable d-bags are still wearing those awful pinstriped unis.
actually, anyone wearing the pinstripes sucks.

You ever see the ball that Reggie hit? He had a few that were dumb...
The All-Star Game one? Yeah, he had some bombs.
That one, Kirk Gibson's shot onto the roof of old Tigers Stadium, Big Cat Galarraga's bomb that nearly left Dolphins Stadium, & Jim Thome's blast that left the Jake on a couple bounces are the most impressive homeruns I've seen in my lifetime. Dave Kingman's moonshot that rolled down Kenmore Ave happened a year before I was born, but still stands as the longest homer in Wrigley history.
Something tells me Wob wasn't a fan of theirs back then....

Other shots I can remember are Mantle, McGwire hit the back of the Kingdome off a 99mph Randy Johnson pitch which I think would still be going today...
Besides Judges shot this year McGwire at Fenway and Josh Hamilton at yankee stadium during the HR derbys were clinics. Unbelievable blasts from these two.
Also, I stand corrected. Official measure of the Glenallen Hill homer is 500' exactly. 529 was an originally accepted measure, but recent methods have calculated it at 500.

Them Astros are killing it! Altuve, Correa,Beltran and Bregman is coming around. What a great team!

2017 Astros - 41-16
2016 Cubs - 40-17 1.0 GB
Not sure if the SP will hold up. Love the first 2 guys but 3-5 are shaky.
