    Great series by the Royals. Could have been totally different had they not been a scrappy bunch of good ballplayers. They came through almost every time they needed to and get a WS victory a year after the heartbreak. Props to them and I hope their fans enjoy the reward after so many down years.

    Just goes to show how important a good manager is in the playoffs. Collins should either let Harvey pitch the 9th win or lose or never put him out there and gone to the bullpen. You don't let players talk you out of your decisions in an elimination game. You as the manager are there to make the tough decisions.

    That said the Giants have a 70 to 90 million to spend this offseason based on contracts coming off the books and the owners statement there will be an increase in payroll.

    Cueto is fine. Blame Yadier Cunt Boy for starting that fight after Dat Dude BP just tapped his shin guards and said hello to start the game.
    Cueto kicked Jason LaRue, an ex teammate and it lead to a series of concussion issues that caused him to retire. Generally I say this is awful...but if you watch the fight video I dont really blame him.

    He was a catcher for the Cardinals. Suffered a concussion and had to retire due to the injury.

    I didn't know Jose Fernandez was a free agent. He's only 23. I guess he'll sign for 1 year with the Marlins. Then test the market next year.

    I don't think he's a FA yet as he's only played 3 years. Maybe he's just arbitration eligible?

    Giants are listed as favorites to land Upton and Greinke by the media. I would not be happy as a Giants fan. Upton is inconsistent and Greinke will be great for the first few seasons and then over paid.
