Blah blah blah. All that for an auto correction!

God forbid power hitters learn to play defense. It's ok if you can't field a ground ball or throw from third to first. You can just be a DH. Just know you'll never be a hall of famer.

Who was the Martinez in Seattle? I can't remember his name but he was a great hitter. But a career DH. He may or may not have been juiced up, but he would be in the Hall of fame today if be had played more than 10 games a year at third.

Edgar Martinez. That guy was a doubles machine.

He and Griffey built Safeco. A lady I once worked with in our Seattle office named her son Edgar after him, he was born a few days after "The Double" -- Seattle fans refer to that extra innings hit simply as just that....The Double.

Also, not to harp on injuries, and while sure, Wainwright could have gotten hurt any other way, he got hurt batting, you don't think it hurts the Cards playoff chances by losing him for the year? Again, the potential for less money

I had the same initial thought, but watching some of the injury talk on Wainwright it's really the stress put on his pitch landing foot that built to that injury. They mentioned that the doc's told Ryan Howard that if his didn't snap when it did, it was gonna go the next time. I bet it's a similar case with most Achilles injuries.

It's amazing to me that more pitchers don't have similar injuries. Big guys with long spindly legs. The torque on their arms is always talked about, but there's a lot of stress all over their bodies.

I say keep the DH but make them wear a dunce cap instead of a baseball hat.

Weaver needs to be traded right fing now. He just doesn't have it anymore. Angels have a knack for losing against teams with a worse record than them. SMMFH

It's amazing how his belly fat, moving much slower then the rest of his body, causes him to briefly spin back to the right.

It's a privilege to watch true athletes perform at the professional level

Welcome to the majors, Carlos Perez! Now THAT'S how you make a major league debut. Walk off home run to light the halo up.

3 game series win of Seattle and now onto the (hopefully) fluke Astros.

That Seattle series. I was forced to cheer for Cano's team or Moreno. Ugh.

If it makes you feel any better, Moreno has been skating on thin ice for me as well especially with that Hamilton controversy. The best he could do in the offseason was Matt fucking Joyce.

At least that Vernon Wells contract is gone.
