Dude is a St Louis guy. Gotta be tough for him to stay objective. I sure as fuck couldn't. I like Joe Buck doing baseball, his partner sucks as much as Ryan Howard though.

Not gonna disagree with you. Congrats to you Patrick, but I have a hard time believing half the people there tonight could tell me who John Jaha, Matt Mieske, or Mike Matheny are. If they are over 25 and can't they shouldn't be allowed to go to the games. Just my opinion. Congrats to you though Patrick. At least I'll root on the Badgers and Packers with you though. The Badgers are hands down the most important team in the state this year.
if this is TRUE it amazes me
Sad

Nice catch by Chris Young. Diamondbacks almost did it again, but for not. Not bad for what USA Today called the worst team in the playoffs. Thankfully J Upton is 24 and the starting pitching and farm pitching is stocked for years to come. Watching them play for Kirk Gibson was a pleasure... Good luck to the Brewers, I wouldn't hate as I would normally since I spend 9/3 and 9/4 is your nice cool state and most of the people I met were pretty friendly.

coming out of moneyball last nite ... was wondering ... is anyone worth these huge dollars? ... guys like crawford, howard, pujols to come ... all these big contracts - are they worth it? ... obviously, big name guys sell more merch and the tea gets most of that but still ... overall speaking ... these contracts are long and for big cash and often after a player has peaked ...

i like what AA is doing here in toronto ... everyone is desirable at a price and no higher ...

Going to be brutal ratings. I will watch the ALCS and try to catch as much of the NLCS as possible, at least to see Kennedy pitch, but not nearly as interested in the NL series.

Does it seem like the Eastern Power teams are getting weak and old??

Phillies....good pitching....sub standard hitting in the playoff.....good defense...aging starting lineup

    NY Yankees....Good bullpen....average starting pitching....aging starting lineup

Boston Red Sox....Didn't make the playoffs....average starting pitching/bullpen....aging starting lineup

Is this the start of their decline?

Pretty much! No one cares about ratings anymore. The NHL playoffs are shown on VS, baseball on TBS, the NBA on TBS.

    Who cares?

i've always thought it was interesting to see who and how many people are interested in stuff. also good to analyze how healthy the popularity of the game is without the big markets in play.

agreed on the "go tigers" remark.
