Just picked up my ten club tickets for the Cleveland show tonight. After waiting 2 months to find out where I would be sitting and found out I'm in section 4 row DD. This is a joke,I was one of the first to purchase my set of tickets in the pre-sale. I just found out my buddy who purchased his tickets thru ticketmaster a full month after the pre-sale has the same seats as I do. I have been a member since 1998 and I still can't get good seats. I will not be renewing my club membership when it comes due. I will just take my chances with ticketmaster or find a good ticket broker for my next ticket purchase. Does any one else fell shafted by this program or what?

Know what Pearl Jam should try out 2011 tour or 2012 tour? Hear me out though ...

Next tour all lower bowl seats will be reserved for 10club member's only. But also the first 15 row's on the floor will go to 10club members. But wanna know who get's the first 15 row's? The one's who live in that city/state. When they make the purchase of the pair of ticket's on 10club, and when they pick up the ticket's, they would have to be a resistant/native person living in that city/state, who are 10club member's. First come first serve to those member's. Not all living in that city/state will get to be place in the first 15 row's. Maybe a lottery for them. But I think it would be great. And make alot of people more happy when Pearl Jam tour's.

Way to much bitching about the lottery & bitching about scoring 10club ticket's & not liking your 10club seat. Here's something you should try out. 10club ticket's go are given out 1-2 pm in the afternoon right? You got floor seats right? Look around. Ask people around if they are interested in swiping seats. Even if that person got lower or upper seats, many would rather have floor seats then lower/upper bowl seats. You have all day to check things out. Check the preparties for trades or swipes. It's funny you score 10club ticket's where dozens of fan's here have been climbing the walls, fainting, lose of air & sad they didn't score 10club ticket's online while you did and you're pissed off? No wonder this world is fucked! Too much jealous, selfish & greedy people! You just gotta get away from them before they take other's down.

    here's the thing

some people don't do so well with reality

they remember joining a long time ago... but they forget that they were late paying 7 out of the last 12 years

and that whole logging in to find your member number or expiration date is damn confusing speedy!!! *drip* *drip* *drip*

I really don't see all that many people bitching about their tickets. A very very very small percentage. Why do some of you make such a big deal out of the few who do?
  • As long as the sound is good or preferably great the seat doesn't really matter to me.
I already know what they look like, I just want to be in the building.

  • Great seats for me. Section 4 (same as OP), row AA, 27th row from the stage and much closer than sound board. Member number is 375XXX from 2004.

    Rows 1-2-9-10 are lottery rows...

They randomly pick people to sit in these rows. The rest of the seats are seniority seating, as usual.

My seniority is garbage. I wasn't even on the floor. To think the Ten Club stuck me in section 108!

    And you know what?

GREATEST FUCKING SHOW EVER! THANK YOU TEN CLUB! THANK YOU PJ!
If hope can grow from dirt like me ...

I did a little researching. I joined 10C in March, 2002 and have 251xxx. Joined about 7 months before the release of Riot Act. In Irvine 2003, I was astonished that I was 1/2 way back, above the center aisle, a few rows further back than the soundstage. I was happy because Irvide is a bowl and I sat above the row in front of me. I could see and hear just fine, still amazed at how far back I was. In San Diego, my situation was worse than the OP's description of what happened in Cleveland. I was about 40 rows back on the floor, Stone's side, 3 seats in from the aisle. Across the aisle, the sides rose up. I am not the tallest or shortest person, just average, and I couldn't see. I agree with the other post in here that these "be greatful you are in the room" posts are as obnoxious as the complaint posts. I couldn't see, and seeing is not an unreasonable requirement, 10c advertised best seats in the house, and if I were as far back as I was but up the sides a few rows, I would have had a 1000% better experience. We debated all that in 2003 and 10c changed policy and the sides were used instead of rear floor. Thanks 10c, I appreciate your listening. In 2006 I was not far back but way high. Didn't really feel part of it like those down low. I had more of a police helicopter perspective. In LA, 2009, they played 4 nights and allowed me to get 10c seats for only one of the 4. Sort of a 2000 type of situation. In 2000, you got 1 show per tour. I picked LA3 and was very close (non-lottery). I think the fact they allowed me to get 1 night was the trick. That put me in that magical zone with respect to the show. Maybe you can calibrate your experience off these facts to see if something went wrong as an isolated instance.
