So stoked to hear my all time favorite show -Philly 10/22/13 - live today just as I got off work. Decided to take the long way home and enjoy the memories and music from this incredible night.
  • We get three shows per day.

Is it just me or have we not heard much of the 2006-2010 era in quite some time?

Also many repeats from thd last few months rather than shows that we're not broadcast in the past year.

Do both stations (10C Radio and PJ Radio) play the same shows?

But yeah, I was definitely expecting more than one Spectrum show during Halloween week at 11am/2pm on SiriusXM. We got 10/30/2009 and that was it.

It makes sense that we'll get the "recent tour" in the months thereafter as well as some anniversary shows, especially in late October with the birthday shows and the Spectrum. Not playing the NYC 92(?) show on that anniversary would also be a sin. We gotta hear Speed Wash on 12/31. It'd be nice to revisit the MTV Unplugged show and the Euro impromptu unplugged show on those dates.

But if @nhiding sees this, if we could get some of those 2006-2010 shows (and maybe some into 2012) back into the mix, I just feel like they've been forgotten about. I know it's hard work trying to make everyone happy. Thanks for doing an awesome job.

  • And just like that, the midday show on SiriusXM on 11/5 is 10/7/2009 from LA (Universal City), naturally with lots of Backspacer stuff... something which has seemingly gone dormant in recent years.

PJ Radio doesn't seem to be working for me today.

There have been a few (rare) times when I swear I heard the same show a day or two later. I know he picks a few shows a week and mixes them up, so if you constantly listen, you're gonna hear the same shows multiple times each week.

But I typically just listen to the midday show. I swear the same show was played 24 hours later.

Sometimes for Memorial Day and/or Labor Day, they do an "outside show" weekend when there's lots of "outside shows" played.

More themed weeks, anyone? Obviously these wouldn't be every week, but occasionally mixed in like one theme every 2-3 months.
    Here's some ideas:

    Poster Week:
The chief, mermaid, Kong, Fenway catch, DC reaper, Seattle 98, etc etc. If the show has a kick-ass poster, it's probably going to get played this week. (Apologies to the Cracker Jack!)

    City Week:
Pick a city and do a ton of shows from that specific city. Something like this did actually happen a while back with Pennsylvania, IIRC. IDK if we got the Spectrum shows from 2009, but I vaguely remember the State College 2003 and Pittsburgh 2000 and 2003 shows as part of this. It wouldn't have to necessarily be US cities either. I'm sure they have enough from various cities in Europe and Canada. (Or hell modify it and give us Brazil week.)

I'm sure Seattle week would be a hit. Two shows in 2000, at least one in 2009, two in 2018, two in 2024 and some others that were recorded, right? (2003 would be ineligible due to "Special Status". There's certain shows that lose the magic if they're played too often.)

Festival week might be fun...or not, since a lot of festivals seem to give us a lot of the hit songs.

    Live On Two/Ten Legs Week:
Shows with songs picked for those albums.

    Marathon Week:
    The longest shows.

    Artist Week:
Shows that had posters designed by a certain artist. (Brad Klausen Week. Ames Week. Emek Week.)...this might be a good idea to celebrate the birthday of that artist. "We're celebrating Brad Klausen all week long. Every show this week had a poster designed by him."

    Band Member Week:
Eddie Vedder Week would be shows picked by him. Do the same with the other guys. Obviously only if they wanted to participate, but it'd be fun to relive their favorite shows.
