Rob, could you please play Athens 30/09/06 for the celebration of its 9th anniversary today?
that gal screaming through the entire bootleg kinda keeps me away from this one at times.
haha
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
I finally got around to listening to the Global Citizen forum and I must say, Rob and his buddies came across as smug and arrogant on a few occassions, pretty much summing up what a lot of people at that Festival felt about the PJ fans. The comments and chuckling about the Chris Martin and Ariana Grande duet was what bothered me the most. Just because it didnt involve Eddie Vedder, doesnt mean you cant show respect. Music is art, you are representing the band on the radio, Chris Martin is doing A LOT of good things with this festival, there was no need for that.

Despite the fact I think Chris Martin and Ariana Venti suck, I think you are forgetting that PJ is a ROCK band. If you don't rock, you are lame. How many concerts have we heard Ed making fun of shitty music? If PJ has become a lounge act, then I guess they should be nice to everyone. For the record, that is the only good song Beyookie has ever done. I mean, I couldn't name another song of hers, let alone one I like. Rock has edge, it's dirty, it has soul. None of the other acts had any of that.
But it was a nice, pretty, fancy, shiny way to shine a light on poverty. Hope it makes a difference, but I guarantee you I would have showed up late for that show.
Hi! Could it be possible, in light of the imminent South America Tour, to listen some of the past SA bootlegs (´05, ´11, ´13). If so, would it be too much to ask for a schedule, so I make sure I don´t miss them? Many thanks in advance!

Can we please cut back on the number of "impact tracks" that are played on PJ radio? It seems like they play one every 3-4 songs. I understand sprinkling a few "impact tracks" here and there, but every 3-4 songs is ridiculous. I listen to PJ Radio to hear Pearl jam, not X or Fugazi. When I hear the sounder for the impact tracks, I change the channel.

Seriously, the other day it was every other song...I switched over to lithium and was much more satisfied.

Can it be done on Ten Club Radio?
Yes, will make it happen the week of Nov. 2 and will post a schedule

I do the same thing. As soon as I hear that impact tracks sounder, I change the channel, and I typically don't go back to PJ radio until the next time I drive. I wonder if they can track to see how many people switch channels when an impact track is played.

Personally, I have enjoyed some of the impact tracks. People this is the band's channel, and they are going to do what they want. Giving exposure to some of their friends is going to happen. Seems like a pretty Republican way of thinking "PJ or nothing" for a band and its fans who seem to be more socially conscious. Those other bands are pretty thankful I am sure, you all sound like elitist snobs.

Guess you wouldn't complain if you were at a PJ concert and every 3-4 songs they bought up another band to play either?
political leanings with regards to wanting to hear what it is described on the band's radio station makes zero sense. people are asking and giving feedback, which this band and its management seem to welcome.
The impact tracks wouldn't be so bad if they weren't the same dozen or so over and over and over and over. There is absolutely no reason, whatsoever, with all the music that is out there that has either influenced PJ or been influenced by PJ, that I should ever hear the same 2 Arctic Monkeys songs multiple times a day, every damn day.

That comparison doesn't even make sense. I can listen to PJ Radio every day, they don't play live every day. Odd response.

Have you listened to Sirius/XM? I have been a subscriber since 2004. No matter what channel you listen to, it's going to get repetitive. Some PJ songs are played pretty frequently as well (ie Rats from Calgary and Hard to Imagine from Baltimore from 2013 come to mind).
I'm just saying Rob, love the channel. I don't listen to it every day, but whenever I switch over I know 98% of the music is good. That's a whole lot more than ANY other radio station.
