They were the highlight of the ACL Fest for me, saw them instead of Stevie Wonder, caught about 3 Stevie songs on the way out Sat night, but the PA system blew up and the sound for his show was for CRAP, everyone was complaining about it. The Stevie show was SUPER crowded and the MMJ set was wide open, I walked right up to about 20-25 rows from the front and the sound was great, there set was sick, Preservation Jazz Hall Band came out and played the last 3 songs![img][/img]9/5/92, 11/20/93, 3/14,15/94, 9/16/95, 10/14,15/2000

Glad I got my tickets for MSG during the pre-sale, as all I pulled up now were Sec. 301 and 422!
It's going to be a fun show!"McCready played on, lending credence to the theory that he was actually built in Stone’s basement from spare truck parts and vinyl records." - Glide Mag. review of MSG 7/8/030 -

They're playing in a very small ampitheatre very close to home, in Boca
.
I shouldn't have a problem getting there a bit early for an up close view.
Place only holds 3000 people. 1/3 the people from my last time seeing MMJ at Red Rocks.
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
What You Giving
I suggest you step out on your Porch.

I saw them last month at a place that holds 4,000 people, but only 1,800 showed up .severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

In response to a post about Wilco using pre-recorded tracks during their live show in another thread...I'd just like to point out that MMJ are repeat offenders for using many pre-recorded tracks in their live shows.
Gideon
Wordless Chorus
Victory Dance
Black Metal
The Day is Coming
But I do agree that all bands should just figure out a way to do it LIVE...maybe take notes from Thom Yorke and Co.Mansfield, MA - Jul 02, 2003; Mansfield, MA - Jul 03, 2003; Mansfield, MA - Jul 11, 2003; Boston, MA - Sep 29, 2004; Reading, PA - Oct 01, 2004; Hartford, CT - May 13, 2006; Boston, MA - May 24, 2006; Boston, MA - May 25, 2006; Hartford, CT - Jun 27, 2008; Mansfield, MA - Jun 28, 2008; Mansfield, MA - June 30, 2008; Hartford, CT - May 15, 2010; Boston, MA - May 17, 2010; [EV - Providence, RI - June 15, 2011; EV - Hartford, CT - June 18, 2011]; Worcester, MA - Oct. 15, 2013; Worcester, MA - Oct. 16, 2013; Hartford, CT - Oct. 25, 2013; Boston, MA - August 5, 2016; Boston, MA - August 7, 2016...0 -

I wrote tha about Wilco. I realize MMJ does it too and it also annoys me with them. However, MMJ does it with a few songs while Wilco did it with several in the show I saw them perform and I was not expecting it. I probably should have.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I have to say, for a band that did what they did at T5, their refusal to switch up their sets on this tour was pretty disappointing. I know they are still supporting Circuital, but they could be playing a lot of different stuff from past albums. Instead, it's always Off the Record, Gideon, Golden, I'm Amazed........and the same old end of Run Thru, Touch Me 2, and Smokin.0 -
