They played every song off the new album last night. I'm all for hearing new songs, but for a 22 song set, not sure I want nearly half to be all new stuff. They do a fairly decent job of mixing things up and probably/hopefully just seeing what works for them.
Also, someone in the reddit AMA yesterday mentioned the similarities between the bass line in Picture of You and the Twin Peaks intro and Jim and Tom both commented that it was cool thing to notice. And what do you know, they did it last night lol.
1. The Dark
2. Half a Lifetime
3. Squid Ink
4. Mahgeetah
5. Picture of You
6. I Can Hear Your Love
7. Circuital
8. Lemme Know
9. War Begun
10. River Road
11. The Way That He Sings
12. Everyday Magic
13. Time Waited
14. Touch Me I'm Going to Scream Pt. 2
15. Beginning From the Ending
16. Touch Me I'm Going to Scream Pt. 1
17. Die for It
18. One Big Holiday
----------
19. Out in the Open
20. Spring (Among the Living)
21. I Think I'm Going to Hell
22. Wordless Chorus

Easy to see last night as a de facto album release show/OBH warmup so a couple good reasons to play the whole record. We'll see but not really their MO to do that most nights.0

Was at the show last night and of course it was amazing. New songs, as expected, packed a lot more punch live. They definitely extended Beginning from the ending, a little bit of River Road, and absolutely ripped Die For It.
Great show, great crowd, great town. I am able to see many shows throughout the year so cant wait to see where the new songs go from here.

I like that set even with the new songs. Feels balanced, at least on paper. Dark opener is nice.0

Chattanooga set looks great.
MMJ confirmed that some shows this fall will be Z 20th anniversary shows and they'll play the album in its entirety. I saw this in 2010 at Terminal 5 and excited to see it again.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

Finally got to give Is a few proper listens. Very solid album. Really enjoying Out in the Open, Time Waited, Lemme Know, River Road, and Die for it (probably my fav so far). Only song I don’t love is Everyday Magic. Looking forward to the OBH setlistsPost edited by pledgeagrievance on0

Looks like 3 great setlists. No repeats. But last nights setlist looked incredible. Envious of the lucky ones that attended. Maybe next year (which I’ve been saying 5 years in a row).0
