Just to piggyback on my previous post, just got this update on that shipment… hmmm

Thank you so much for your support and for pre-ordering the vinyl!

We wanted to inform you that you will be receiving your signed vinyl for the release date. However, due to the nature of the limited edition signed copies, there may be some minor damage to the jacket upon arrival (such as slight bends or imperfections). Please know that we understand how important the condition of your item is, and we want to make things right.

To ensure you're fully satisfied, we will be sending you a replacement jacket at a later date. We'll notify you once it's ready to ship. Please note that the replacement jackets are printed on vintage matte style cardstock, so slight imperfections may appear.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. For any further questions or concerns, please reach out to us at

I think it’s a signed postcard or insert. I wish it was the cover as well.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Recently got an MJ Lenderman signed postcard which was included in the vinyl (signature not on the cover)

My guess is it's like this Dawes situation where they sent me a sealed record and also a separate signed gatefold jacket.

Not my favorite upon the first few times through, but it’s a very effortless listen. Great flow.

Agreed.  Nothing jumped out at me yet, but a pleasant listen start to finish.  At 39 mins - a bit short, but happy with new music.

For any fellow Canadians - I get Sam Roberts vibes throughout.

Three listens in and I'm very happy with this album.  It won't rank near their top for me but it won't be the bottom either.  It is cohesive and has a solid flow, and has been getting my three year old daughter to dance, which is most important lol

S/T and is I enjoy listening to front to back. Last one before them was Evil Urges. Circuital and The Waterfalls have some great songs but they also really drag for me in stretches.

Enjoying what I'm hearing so far. Looking forward to the weekend when I can focus a bit more and not be distracted by work.  Plenty of time to get very familiar with it as shows are still 6-7 months away.

I like the Waterfalls a lot more than self titled.

On another note, hoping they bring out Magic Bullet this tour.

This would probably be 5th or 6th for me but nothing is touching the first 4!

Just got through with my first listen...

The tracks that stand out to me are all on side 2: Beginning From The Ending, Die For It, and River Road.

On the whole, I'm hearing some new things and them stretching out while at the same time grounded in what makes MMJ, MMJ. Can't wait to hear the tracks live as some of them have the potential to reach double digits like PWW, SE, and D.

It’s probably a little early to rank the album but here’s my feeling right now. I see 3 distinctive chunks (1-4; 5-7; 8-10):

    1. Z
    2. ISM
    3. TTF
    4. AD
    -------
    5. C
    6. W1
    7. Is
    -------
    8. EU
    9. W2
    10. MMJ

I won't place "Is" yet.  Need about 50 more listens and hear the songs live. I realize my list may be unpopular with other MMJ fans.

    Z
    Evil Urges
    At Dawn
    Circuital
    It Still Moves
    The Tennessee Fire
    Waterfall 2
    Waterfall
    Self titled

And I got to hear my top 3 from front to back live!

Cobra (I kid I kid, but seriously)
    It Still Moves
    Z
    At Dawn

The first 3 can move weekly, then:
    Evil Urges
    Circuital
    Waterfall
    Self Titled
    Waterfall 2
    Tennessee Fire

So far I enjoy Is but nothing is really sticking out at this point, but we'll see.

I want to put a conspiracy theory out there that they named it "is" because it alphabetically comes right before "It Still Moves"

Not bad. No meandering 8 min songs which is a plus. Some great tracks, some decent and 1 or 2 I’ll never listen to again. I’m sure some of these will sound amazing live.
