Anyone headed to the CT show tonight? I would Iove if someone could get me a poster. Pm me if you can. Thanks
Sorry just saw this now. Good show in New Haven, they sound great. Not my favorite setlist but still great to see one of the best live bands out there. Sad to see so many unsold tickets. We met people that paid $10 to get in.

Really damn I wonder why? I couldn’t even try to go got off work 7:00 last night I’m hoping to get to see them at the beacon in October

Yeah I agree just by looking at set, not really popping out like some of the others recently. I’m surprised to hear about the unsold tix, especially without a proper NY/NJ show around it.
And np about the poster @Get_Right. Hopefully there’s a drop at some point

Sorry I got to the show last second.
I actually loved the setlist last night. MMJ show #16 for me. I left during Magheetah to beat the traffic since I’m old now lol.

It was not a bad show, but they lost me a bit in the middle of the main set. Hope you made into the show for The Dark opener, probably my favorite of the night. More of that please and less One Big Holiday for the 100th time. Still a great time, they are amazing and the venue was super chill being 2/3rds full, if that.

I can't believe their one Boston show hasn't sold out. Roadrunner is 3,500 cap and there are still tickets.
The Pittsburgh show was moved inside because of smoke to a capacity that was half of what the original had and still wasn’t sold out. People are missing out. They’re the best live band going.
I for one never get tired of hearing OBH or Magetah. It’s like seeing Alive. Never gets old. The setlist on paper from last night looks amazing to me.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
I love being at an MMJ concert no matter what they play. They are such a great band and Jimmy was in full jam mode in New Haven. The new lights are also awesome. I have to listen to the boot. Maybe my expectations were a bit high after seeing some of the setlists.
Seems like they lost momentum during that semi hiatus. Love love these guys and hope they ascend again soon. Although selfishly not terrible being able to see them play in smaller rooms.
Those Philly shows are in the wind I guess? Not listed on the band or venue website.
I still think these are happening. I heard they can't officially announce it cause of The Peach Music Festival in Scranton later this summer. So maybe after the festival they can announce it?
Hopefully now that Peach Festival is over they can announce those philly dates! Maybe this week?

They haven’t lost any momentum as a band. They crush on the stage.
Can’t argue about the hiatus possibly impacting their ability to draw a crowd though. There were tickets available at the door for the show here in the Twin Cities last week (a 2,500 person venue) It was also 8 years since they had last played here when they sold out two nights in a row at a similar sized theater.

The last few albums have been subpar, that’s the reason. Can’t wait for the Chicago shows but I won’t buy tickets until close to the show.

100%. Only talking about the draw. And it's the same situation in Boston. 8 years ago sold out 2 nights at the Orpheum (2.7k) but Roadrunner (3.5k) still has tickets.

I realize I'm in the minority but absolutely love the s/t from last year

MMJ have released one album of newly recorded material over the past eight years while every musical act is touring in 22/23 to make up for COVID. Not a recipe for success.

Same here. And I really like half of Waterfalls II.

Yeah I was excited to score pit tix in Indy when they first went on sale but there were still some available day of show.
There was still some room in the pit area but there were a lot of people. The pavilion looked pretty full.
Probably not sell outs but not too far off I don't think

This is a great point that I keep forgetting. It is insane the number of shows I want to see in Sep-Nov already. My wife, son, and dog would change the locks if I did. So there are quite a few "never miss" bands that I'm having to skip
