sooo the self titled album pretty much sucks IMO, so did both Waterfalls. I MMJ done as a power rock band? Tons of synth and just plain weird shit abound. I think I can count on one hand, songs I think are awesome on all three of those titles combined. Have they lost their mojo?
No, they haven't lol.
Tropics, Feel You, In Color
There's an amazing track from each album
Exactly "AN" amazing track. One or two per album, so 6 or 7 great songs on 3 albums vs 6 or 7 great songs on every album. Maybe it was covid... I was referring to song writing mojo not live mojo, this band will always kick ass live. I feel we are way past MMJ's peak is my point. Still love them, jist not so much since first waterfall

Waterfall II is pretty uneven. Absolutely love the last album front to back.
I saw PJ for the 26th time on Sunday at MSG and MMJ for the 1st time in Boston tonight. I'm completely blown away. As wonderful as that 9/11 PJ show was in NYC, MMJ was equally dominant tonight. They are the definition of a true live band...can't wait to see them again.
Embarrassed I missed them as the opener at all the 2006 PJ shows.
This SHN fest is tough. Only an hour slot and fest preventing any other proper shows in the area
Did two the nights at Red Rocks as well. True about the festival set, but tI enjoyed SHN last year more than I expected. Only hassle were the lines for food and drink after 7:30pm or so. I like the line up on Saturday. Stevie Nicks, MMJ, Billy Strings, Gary Clark, Backseat Lovers are all great live.
Great time seeing some of my PJ friends in Dillon, at the MMJ shows. MMJ certainly delivered there 😜. Love having the Dillon amphitheater 5 miles from my condo!
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)

Surprised it doesn't follow the font treatment on the cover from Volume 1.
Hopefully it get's releases over here!
