Thy played Forest Hills in September. Let the rest of us have a turn!
Those shows weren't sold out anyways.
It is looking like they are going to play the Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park. So that may put them out of range for a NY show. And as said early, they played twice last fall.

Any other rumored acts for SHN?
I am pretty sure Green Day is one of the headliners.

Where are you reading that? Would love if they played SHN as I’m 20 minutes away. If there’s anything concrete I’d buy early bird now

Certainly not reading it anywhere, but makes sense. They have a relationship with Sea.Hear.Now's Tim Sweetwood (promoter who also does Shaky Knees). Also, and most importantly, their schedule and touring route lines up perfectly with the festival. The festival is September 17 & 18. MMJ plays New Haven, CT on the 16 and nothing until the 19, Charlottesville, VA. So certainly not an automatic yes but definitely seems to be heading towards them playing.

Certainly makes sense. When the tour came out it was glaringly missing NE dates so I’ll bite
I'll be in Raliegh for the show tonight. Can't wait. Have not seen them live for about 10 years and that show was epic. I just remember Jim shredding guitar solos in front of me all night and thinking to myself "I wish more bands could really rock out like this".

The Orpheum setlist from the start of the tour looks perfect from Dondante down. The Knoxville set looks like a slow slow burn and such a beautifully strange set. Can’t wait to hear that one.

Raleigh show was great. Glad to get Lay Low and Steam Engine was a pleasant surprise as well. Newer stuff sounded better live too.
