    Mirrorball $125
    Mad Season Above $150

At least these two are well over-priced. Sealed Mad Season just went for $125:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Mad-Season-ABOVE-SE ... 1e5b6fb907

(or actually didn't because of the reserve price)

And Mirrorball for ~50 some £s which is maybe $80...

I've decided to get me some good PJ/related vinyl, but I feel I'm done after getting Vitalogy & Above...I guess this is the time to sell your vinyls, the scene is really booming right now. Wise move. And after all I find it ridiculous that for example Mad Season could be bought for $15 when it came out and now the price (for sealed) is 10* the original. And it's all because of ebay. Sealed Beatles is worth $150...Oh yeah, and check: http://www.musicstack.com - fixed prices rule!

Why do you care if his prices are high? If you aren't interested just move along. No need for negativity. It's really none of your business what someone wants to sell stuff for.
because his prices are out of control. I consider everyone on the message pit a friend or a friendly person. If I came on hee to sell something I would give legit prices and not try and rip people off. If you want to rip people off dont sell things here. Mostly everything I see sold here has a very low asking proce or an appropraite one. That's why.

and if you dont like what i have to say why comment, why not just move on?

Good for you. Do you want a trophy for selling stuff cheaply? Maybe like 95% of the people here, he doesn't consider everyone here a personal friend. Maybe he lost his job and needs money. Maybe he is really struggling with the idea of selling them so he priced them really high and if someone buy's them great. If not, he keeps them. I don't know the guy so i'm not in a position to say if he is a jerk but based on this, he isn't a jerk. Ripping someone off is selling something and then not shipping it after they paid for it. This is just a case of high prices that people can either take or leave. How is that ripping off?

And I felt the need to comment because you just attacked the guy and were a jerk about it.

But there might be someone reading this, how doesn't know the market price for these vinyls. So I guess its fair to discuss.

Fair enough but I'm not going to price my stuff based on the off chance that someone innocent doesn't do research and either use the search function or go to ebay. Some people might do that but obviously the OP didn't and I can't say I would if I were selling something. I would price my stuff much more reasonably however.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm trying to say and people on hear are killing me for it. Price it more reasonably if you are going to seel it to PJ fans on this site...pirce it at whatever you want on ebay. But here I would think it would be diff.

true. you can't fault him if someone else has no idea what they could be paying. i remember when i first saw the first 2 xmas singles on eil or ebay and just bought it. yeah i couldve saved some money by researching but i didn't. that's not the sellers problem.

i dunno snoop...with these prices? i normally don't respond to threads like this...but this is amusing...a while ago i was looking for a the Munkone berlin print and you prematurely "outed" me as JB24 on ebay accusing me of "jacking" my prices up and here you are doing the same thing. you did this publicly in my ISO thread which probably didn't help my situation in tracking down that print....i think if people are calling you out on it in your thread, its all fair game....

  • I have been fortunate to have received very good deals from people here on vinyl, and other goodies. People here do like to help each other out, which is great. I've also been in the giving end myself. But I certainly do NOT fault anyone for wanting to sell their stuff here for whatever price they deem they want to. You have a MUCH better chance of selling it quickly and without hassle here rather than eBay.

If he doesn't sell items because of his prices, that's his problem, not yours, correct?
