High Violet is #1 on iTunes and Sea of Cowards (Dead Weather) is #2. That's pretty cool.

I have been into this band for ages, Every album is consistently excellent in my opinion. I had tickets for a small show in the UK a couple of years ago but couldn't make it :x

Great album, had a couple long drives this week and been through it about 3 times straight. Really solid the whole way through.

honestly there is not much i love this year. I have heard a lot of "good" albums but not too many really have excited me. I did get into Surfer Blood a good bit but i've not gone back to it much. I've been grooving on the new Black Keys Brothers a good bit too. This is what i'ver heard:
    Vampire Weekend- Contra
    Massive Attack- Heliogland
    Beach House- Teen Dream
    Surfer Blood- Astro Coast
High on Fire- Snakes for the Divine
    Broken Bells- Broken Bellls
    Gorrilaz-Plastic Beach
Drive By Truckers- The Big To Do
    She & Him- vol 2
    New Pornographers- Trouble
    National- High Violet
    MGMT-Congratulations
    The Black Keys-Brothers
    Band of Horses- Infinate Arms
    Minus the Bear-Omni
    Everest- On Approach
    Bison BC-Dark Ages

I like a good bit of them but again just not been floored by much as being great.

I think it needs to be continually stated how amazing "Conversation 16" is.

    Love Berninger's oddball lyrics.

Apologies to all National veterans for the naïvety of this post but..

OMG this album is incredible.... :D

As part of my Glastonbury listening in I downloaded this from eMusic this week and am completely blown away.

(going to my first festival in 16 years has jolt started me into listening to some great bands in recent weeks!)

Slight problem I have got a feeling The National and The Deadweather are on at the same time on Saturday :?

    Awesome.

Favourite song has to be Little Faith. There's not a single dud on there though.

Finally got my first listen to this today ... liked it from jump.

However, it might be missing a little punch.

I'll give it a few more twirls in the days ahead as I'm seeing them on Thursday!
