I usually go during Evenflow and/or whenever I need to piss or am due for another beer....and somehow, missing a song or two from a 3 hour event has yet to kill me....oh, and I also keep my ears open while waiting for a bud or pissing, so technically I don't really miss that much, or anything at all depending on your perspective..

I only ran out once, during Crazy Mary, but the good thing is its easy to get back quick, since not too many people are in the hallways.

I've never missed a single second of any PJ show I've been too though if I HAD TO, Wishlist would be the time I would make a run for it.

I go to the bathroom right before the show. I'm in my late 40's and as you get older, you have to go more often. I can hold it in for the length of a show. If I can, you probably can too, absent certain medical conditions. But I'm talking about me here, not you.

I usually go right after the opening band gets off the stage or before if they arent that great. After that I don't go until the show is over. I am usually good with limiting myself with liquids and stopping at the right point to not have to go. I like drinking and what not before hand, but I would rather enjoy every second of the concert because who knows when I'll get to go to another one.

I'm going with the one's who said 'Encore Break'. Personally, I think it kinda sucks... but, a lot of people seem to love it, what , with all the cheering and shit. I guess I just don't get it.
Plus, they play it at least twice a night... I can always catch the second one, right?

As sac relig as it is, "Given to Fly" seems to send me to the washroom. I get back mid song, and enjoy the good part.

I've been to 14 shows and not once have I missed a song heading to the bathroom. But if I had to, I'd go during Small Town or Even Flow.

Before you read this you should know, I am not making this up.

My CD of the Philly Spectrum show (31st) came in the mail today, earlier I listened to Disc 1 in my room with my dog. During Even Flow, my dog got up, went outside, relieved himself (I can only assume), and came back for the next song.

If I didn't hate emoticons, I would be using the one for shocked.

A CAUTIONARY TALE FOR YOU PISS-BREAK SONG PEOPLE

October 28, 2009 around 9:30 pm, Philadelphia Spectrum:

Pearl Jam begins playing their song "Come Back" prompting the dude behind me to say "perfect song to take a piss" before heading to the bathroom. Though I couldn't agree more because Come Back sucks, the band aborted the song just moments into it and decided to play NO WAY instead. Upon his return from the bathroom, I overheard his friend say to him "dude they played No Way."

    Piss break guy's response?

    "No fucking way!"

I'll never understand this "piss break song" stuff. Whatever happened to going when you have to go and not going when you don't have to go? Are you going to go take a piss during Even Flow even if you don't have to go...just because it's your "piss break song"?

My husband's always joked that Evenflow (duh) and Insignificance ("bombs dropping down" = poo) are good bathroom break songs. They played both in a row at Newark this last tour, and I nearly lost it I was laughing so hard when the 2nd of the two started!

Unless it's an emergency I don't go to the bathroom during the main act.

I never had to piss so bad in my life when PJ came on at Newark. I held it all show and forgot about it somehow.

If you are going to piss during the main set, Evenflow is a good choice, but leave early, like the first three notes,or else you are waiting in line.Unemployable is no-brainer. Usually never leave my seat during the encores. Got burned at Philly 4 when we went out for a smoke and missed Whip it.
    All together now...
