PLEASE come out to the track and hang out with me. I will be there bright and early loading in a Pat Green Show.

I'm a country hick so please tell me what "loading in a Pat Green Show" means?

Im a concert producer that works for a production company that deals with NASCAR. Pat Green is doing a pre race concert on the track. we start loading in gear and setting up at 6AM.

Got it. I did Google Pat Green and saw he was doing a show there so figured it had something to do with that. So did you know that you were going to be KC for this when they announced the PJ shows?

That sounds pretty cool, but way too tame for me. We are going to the World War I Museum. Can you say PARTEE! Really, I want to go to the World War I Museum.

I haven't been there for about 15 years but when I was there in high school it was pretty interesting. I don't think there's that much to see there, but it's worth checking out. Then again, they may have added some things since I've been there.
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

It's been completely renovated within the last couple of years....
Riverrunner, if you like history, another cool musuem is the Steamboat Arabia Museum. Fascinating. But I'm kind of a nerd.

That looks pretty cool - something my husband might be interested in. We will see if we have time on Monday. Thanks for the info.

is anyone coming from the airport or in that general direction? my ride is coming in from St Louis, but isnt sure when they will get there. Just looking to get down to L&P in time to have a few drinks and maybe a bite to eat.

there are a lot of great local art galleries in Kansas City....I think my sister (she lives there) is showing at the Blue Gallery right now if you want to check it out. ;) Man, I wish we were making the KC/STL shows!!!

Also, for really good bar food, go to either The Peanut or The Flea Market. Great food, super fresh Boulevard on tap.

MMMmmmmm, Boulevard. It's been my new fave beer for a few months now. Really dig the single-wide. Wish the brewery was doing tours...

they aren't doing tours anymore? that's odd. they have specialty beers now that you can buy called smokestack series. they are awesome. Single Wide is good, but i love the Bully! Porter. yum. there's a place in Austin that sells it...we're going to Austin on Saturday. Time to pick up some Boulevard! 8-)
