    what would volunteers do?

me and my concert mate would be down from St Paul Sunday night, so it's possible we could be up for volunteering. i'd need to ask her first, obviously. i'm sure, at the least, we'll be at the party. ic ould probably bring down a couple raffle items as well.

Volunteers help out at the tables during the party. There are Wishlist items available there for donations. Tee shirts for $20, gosh lots of other stuff too. We need people to help take $ for the wishlist items and the $ for raffle tickets.
Also to help collect the food items. Take in the items people donate. Help with the raffle.
Nothing intense, we just can get busy at times.
Feel free to pm me or Tara or Melissa if you want more info. My kids just got home and my brain is kind of frazzled so I bet what I typed is confusing as heck!

Donations are very much appreciated

Great!! Adding you to the list as volunteers. When you get to the party just come over to the table and let us know you're there and want to volunteer.

Will there be any uber-cool people in attendance that might be offended should I decide to wear a PJ shirt to the party and concert? I would so hate to be "uncool."

Well I wore my 06 PJ shirt to the first Chicago party and show in August. No one seemed offended
I have a lot of PJ shirts, I actually only wear a few of them. But I might end up wearing one to one of the shows I go to.

Thanks! After napping this morning I actually do feel better. Well that and now I've taken 3 doses of my antibiotic. I can not believe I have strep throat! SO glad I finally went to the Dr so I didn't spread it all over the midwest. After tomorrow I am no longer contagious!

PJ flipflops would be good, except that it may be a bit cool that day according to the extended weather forecast. And yes, I have been watching Kansas City weather forecasts for the last couple of days. How else would I know what to pack? :D

Oh yeah, and bring a raincoat. In fact, maybe Pearl Jam galoshes would be better.

I know! I found out Friday that it is going around here, so then I realized yeah I probably have it.
SOOOOO happy I went to the Dr yesterday and got antibiotics. I should be fine by Sunday. And luckily not contagious after tomorrow so that's probably a really good thing

Yep, it looks like it's going to rain, rain, rain on Monday.
I also like the PJ flipflop idea. Not so good in the rain, however. :)

Remind me again of the stuff you are bringing for the party. I'm making a list of what I need to dig for/buy prior to Monday...
