I don't care who started this birther nonsense but was this blown up as a way delegitimize the Obama's Presidency? A way of saying "let's take our country back" he's NOT a legitimate president anyway because we know or we believe he wasn't born here. Yeah just show me the certificate and we'll let this go even if we have to wait 8 years. A way of energizing a group of people like the Teabaggers because they sure have quickly jumped aboard questioning whether Obama should be president.

It's probably just disbelief that a person with African descent is occupying a place called The WHITE HOUSE. Just goes to show how dissappointing the previous President must have been.

if you don't even know the difference between "could care less" and "couldn't care less" then it's not worth me passing on my knowledge to you... if you cannot comprehend such a basic fucking grammatical phrase comprising of 3 words i give up. With the "could care less" statements and with prfctlfts handling of spelling, you two right winger's shood run 4 the Presedensy together, most of us could care less.

the fucking black president has not hidden his birth certificate. the fucking black president would have shown it to the relevant authorities prior to his running for the Presidency.

and me racist? i love running... but that aside... it is without doubt that its a group of white people who have a problem with his birthplace... thats simple fact... if anything i'm ageist, cos i dont think its just old white fuckers, clearly there are some young(ish) white fuckers who can't hack it that they have a black guy in the WHITE house :lol:

whether people like it or not, the evidence of Obama's birth in Hawaii is overwhelming. what logical reason is there for you to completely refuse to accept factual evidence that Obama is a natural born citizen of the US? we've been over this time and time and time again. why are you so hell bent on continuing with the accusations that have been completely debunked?

what is it that you are really upset about? What is so different about Obama compared to previous Presidents that we've had? Is it his ancestry that gets to you? is it the fact that his mom is Kansan, his dad is Kenyan and Obama is African American?

is it that it's more pleasant for you to say you don't like someone because they are not a citizen of the United States, than it is to admit that you hate someone because you are a racist?

unless i'm missing something, there is no other explanation that makes any sense. if you see it any differently, what other explanation could there be?

and i'm not saying it is racist to question something about the President. what i am saying, is that when you have overwhelming evidence about something, what logical reason is there to keep saying otherwise?

if race is not the issue, what is it?

This is the same thing you said on the other birther thread :

A person has to be a "citizen of The United States" Obama is that. But, there is not overwhelming evidence that he was born in Hawaii. There is his certificate of live birth which is not a birth certificate. They are issued at any time to the adult person who is requesting it. I have one that I got when I got my passport because the original was not acceptable. Obama has not produced a birth certificate that was given to his parents when he was born.
The birth announcements in the paper do not say where he was born. They only list his parents names and the street they lived on in Hawaii. The fact is he could have been born in any hospital in the world and his parents simply announced it in their hometown paper. They could have put the announcement in any paper.
What is different about him and every other President is that there is no primary source to prove where in fact he was born. Future historians will question this and they will come to the conclusion nobody knows where he was born.
The problem with this is that if he was born somewhere besides the US we have a Constitutional crisis on our hands. Lawyers will go freaking nuts over this and you can bet your Pearl Jam tickets that if the Repubs take control of congress they will make an issue and try to impeach him.
Something that keeps this going is the fact that I heard somewhere that his granny said she was present when he was born in Kenya. I don't know if that was published or not but I'm sure I heard that story somewhere.

You know you better have some damn proof before you call someone a racist. It has nothing to do with race I have grown up around more black people and have a lot of black friends than you will ever know. The schools I attended had more blacks than whites. I love Reggae music is another example. I have already said many times That Im not a birther. I don't give a fuck if he was lilly ass white if someone isn't a NATRUAL BORN CITEZEN they cannot serve as our commander in Cheif.

Would it be fair if I called you an anti semite ? I mean hey look at all the anti Isreal and anti jew things you post on here.

did Bush show his birth certificate? did Reagan? hmmmmmm but you want to see the black guys certificate even though all evidence shows that he was born in the USA?

and i laughed at the reggae music example...

one thing is for certain... even if Obama was born in a hut in Kenya, his fucking spelling is far superior to that of yours... and its even more ironic considering the last 'commander in Cheif' was unable to pronounce nuclear correctly.

How do you know how good a speller Obama is? Have you ever read a text, twitter, email, or thread post of his? Answer: No

His book was certainly edited for spelling. This is an example of people putting their "suit" on Obama. The stuff we don't know about Obama would fill a book and the stuff we do know no one pays attention to. Instead people project their values on this man. It's scary.

Afterbirthers Demand To See Obama's Placenta

WASHINGTON–In the continuing controversy surrounding the president's U.S. citizenship, a new fringe group informally known as "Afterbirthers" demanded Monday the authentication of Barack Obama's placenta from his time inside his mother's womb. "All we are asking is that the president produce a sample of his fetal membranes and vessels—preferably along with a photo of the crowning and delivery—and this will all be over," said former presidential candidate and Afterbirthers spokesman Alan Keyes, later adding that his organization would be willing to settle for a half-liter of maternal cord plasma. "To this day, the American people have not seen a cervical mucus plug, let alone one that has been signed and notarized by a state-certified Hawaiian health official. If the president was indeed born in the manner in which he claims, then where is his gestation sac?" Keyes said that if Obama did not soon produce at least a bloody bedsheet from his conception, Afterbirthers would push forward with efforts to exhume the president's deceased mother and inspect the corpse's pelvic bone and birth canal.

Why does everything have to be "all those libs"... do you really think Obama doesn't know how many states are in the US? I'm sure he mispoke or got tongue tied for a moment, but let's not let a rational or logical thought into a pretty mindless discussion right? And if people are so truly worried about how many states are in the US, perhaps we should have a talk about our educational system where children and adults really do not know this answer. But I suppose it is more important to discuss nonsense and partisan crap right?

Were you this concerned on the prior President's intelligence as well? Or perhaps Dan Qualye really got under your skin years back.. Please stop me any time I'm coming close to the answer... seems like most in our idiotic and decaying nation are more concerned about name calling and nonsense than issues and fixing anything. But let's not find answers to problems, it's all the other side's fault right?

Jeez, this is all you guys have to throw at the President?

Not to excuse the gaffe, but it's clear from the context that the candidate intended to say he had been in 47 (or perhaps 48) states, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Obama acknowledged the mistake later in the day by poking fun at his own "numeracy" problem.

Surprise, the President is human. Funny since you right wing buffoons are always claiming that we worship Barack Obama and we think he can do no wrong.

Don't blame the government or politicians - blame the public. Our nation (both sides) is full of bias, ignorance and partisan crap which has long undermined any problem solving and resolve for the betterment of our society. The government and politicians are mere reflections of all us (collectively).

Not true - they represent all of us as do their actions. Whether for good, bad or indifferent, they use our tax funds and overall our general consent (by voting, action or non-action), they represent us all. We're all guilty - perhaps some more a little more than others, but nonetheless, all guilty. No one is innocent.

    CONservative governMENt

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis
