I'd try it, as long as you dont it one every day it really isn't going to do any damage.

Exactly... I'm trying one later today since I have to go out right next to one anyway. It might be terrible, but I want to give it a shot... I'll post my feelings on it if I survive it.

If someone made a completely vegetarian version of it (beer battered tofu is pretty darned similar) then I'd totally try it... and I'm on a diet. :D

This is still probably more healthy then their "Famous Bowls".

I ate one - I actually was surprised that I liked it. Only change I made was not getting the 'sauce' in the middle... just chicken, cheese and bacon.

I'd do it again, although I dont plan on it for a long time because I value living. :)

Veggie chicken is really good and hard to tell apart. The bacon is not as similar though.

Couldn't agree more. Vegetarian chicken, (Quorn is what we use) when seasoned right and prepared well is so similar that if you didn't know you probably couldn't tell.

I'm afraid this misconception of veggie food being unrealistic and terrible will never go away.

Yup, if people really knew what the GOOD stuff tasted like, they'd more seriously consider becoming a vegetarian. Quorn is awesome, and this place in town makes an awesome beer-battered-tofu which is practically identical in texture to Quorn.

    Mmm... beer battered tofu...

I actually enjoy the veggie chicken-its really good
Ever try general tso's tofu? Yum-but I doubt its a "healthy" dish

And I was actually in a KFC on Friday (I was traveling)
As I was waiting for my grilled chicken sandwich, almost every person there ordered the double down
I was shocked at how popular it was. And its like $5!

It's all hype for the double down right now - they've done a great job creating buzz and making it one of those things 'you have to try.'

I did... I wouldnt have bought it had I just walked into a KFC and saw it on the menu, but once I heard the stories I had to try one just for the fun of it. ANd its not bad.... cant be any worse than a 2-pc fried chicken meal.

looks and tastes are two different things. ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
