...I prefer iTampon, but curious to hear some reviews on this beauty.

    I'm thinking I'll wait for the 2nd gen. Went 1st gen with the iphone, and seemed like the 2nd gen was a lot better (with 3g/gps). Although I'm tempted to stop by an apple store this weekend to take a look.

    The only reason I didn't get the original iPhone was because it was sold without subsidy - basically you bought it at full price, and I was not in the mood to plop down $400-$500 for a 4GB-8GB iPhone AND be stuck in a 2 year contract.

    Once it was sold at a more reasonable $200-$300, (8GB-16GB) then I went for the iPhone 3G.

    I'm not an "early adopter." Don't see the need when the first one is usually shit compared to the stuff that comes out later. However I, personally, don't see a problem with people who prefer to camp on street corners to get the latest video game console, computer, electronic book reader, etc. People used to camp out for concert tickets, new albums, movies etc. I could think of a hundred different things that are more harmful to be "addicted" to than wanting a new gadget.
