My neighbor just went to PA on Friday to get his annual stash of Fireworks. Apparently Pa is the closest state that sells the BIG fireworks. Anyways, I had him pick me up 2 cases of Yuengling while he was there and he just delivered them to me today. Now I wish I had him get me 4. They aren't gonna last long.
    Save me a couple?

    You got it bro.

    Emu Export! :D

I'd like to debate you on this statement, but I have never, in my entire life, seen Emu Larger for sale on the Australian East Coast (and I've lived, and drunk, in several parts of the East Coast). Is there a reason you're hiding this stuff from the rest of Australia :D

    .

Sunset Wheat is very good. It's a little sweet, so I can't drink a ton of them but it's a great summer beer.

I'm a pretty big fan of Blue Moon and Harp as well.

I was absolutely 100% JOKING! And no, when I traveled over that way, I couldn't find Emu Bitter or Export (not that I was looking for Export!)...all I drank was XXXX :o

My Dad drank it for years, it makes people go crazy...word has it they used to put arsenic in it...anyway, there's a reason why it's usually so damn cheap!

Beer is my absolute drink of choice, I'd have it over wine or bourbon any day. Asking me to choose a favourite is another question entirely

They don't sell it here, but my last trip to Georgia I discovered Yuengling....delicious.

Here in Utah though, I'm a sucker for our micro-breweries, in particular the Uinta Brewing Company:

Their Cutthroat Pale Ale is spectacular:

Their hefeweizen isn't bad at all either:

And then there is this bad-ass:

So people seem to love this Yuengling. Not sure if it's in New Engand, but I will look for it. Yum.

On Thursday, I will be hanging with the master brewers at The Sockeye here in Boise for this year's unveiling of the gold medal winning Precocious Imperial Pale Ale, or the PIMP as we like to call it. I wish I could get y'all some.

  • I really like the Sam Adam's spring seasonal, "Noble Pils" that came out this year. I raided the last of it from two different places here, after checking 4 other ones with no luck. Now I've got 40 of them in my fridge.

LOVED the Noble Pils! Kicking myself for not stockpiling like you did. I like the summer ale, but was really disappointed when I saw they made the switch a couple of weeks ago. Sigh...

Great move there. Noble Pils was a solid addition to the SA family this year.
