I know we'll get people who post their local favorites or some amazing beer from Belgium, but the thread is as it is...

Post your favorite beers that are readily available in your area as they are across the country.

Sierra Nevada (Pale Ale) - Still one of my alltime favorite beers.

I am sure the technology exists to get more to Detroit!! 'til then

Used to drink Molson Golden all the time. Now it's in brown bottles, at least here in Canada it is.

There's a reason you put lime in Corona, because it tastes like piss without it.

  • I've noticed that beer sold in this country does not list ingredients. It could be made out of deadly poisons like MSG, aspartame, and tartrazine.

Is ignorance bliss in this case? Or are consumers of beer afraid to demand full disclosure?

The industry would grind to a halt if Americans boycotted the product.

Well, each to their own, but personally, I've never tasted someone's urine, so wouldn't be able to make an accurate comparison. Oh, and I usually go for lemon over lime, but am more than happy to drink it without.

Also...that ad was quite amusing, but seeing as the last time I checked was NOT a man....I feel safe in disobeying 'man-laws'. :D

And Yuengling, while great, is certainly not "readily available across the country".

I really don't understand why yuengling isn't available everywhere. Can someone enlighten me?

The selection of lagers available in the UK is pretty shit to be honest. Carling, Fosters, Carlsberg and Stella seem to be the most popular, but none of them are that good. The beer was much better when I went to Canada last year, Sleemans Cream Ale and Molson Dry were my favourites. Can't go wrong with a Guinness either.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale; Samuel Adams; Guinness; San Miguel Pale Pilsner; Corona (yes, I drink it with the lime AND the salt, the way it's supposed to be drunk), Tsing Tao, and Sapporo.

I think it has to do with the fact that people from pennsylvania are selfish and don't feel like getting in a delivery truck and sharing this lovely creation with North America :D

is the 90 minute significantly better than the 60? 60 minute is a favorite of mine, havent tried 90 yet, because being a poor college student, i havent been able to bring myself to pay the same amount for a 4-pack as a 6

Sam Adams light. To me it blows the doors off regular Sam. In New England we have the seasonal beers: Summer Ale, Octoberfest, Winter Lager and White Ale. These are unbelievable beers but not sure if they are all over the country or not.
