I've always liked to Cease to Begin over Everything All the Time but I think I'm starting to Everything All the Time now. There are no fillers on this album and it flows so well.
Bummer about the new album if its what you guys are saying. I haven't heard it yet but I guess I'll get to preview some of the songs live later this week
There's just 3 duds on the new album, but apart from these it's really good.
anyone have a higher quality rip of the album? I know their was a 320 floating around a week ago, but i stopped listening to it, because the second song's sound on the rip was about the most awful thing i had ever heard. not the song itself, but the quality of the rip
Yeah i'm really happy that i will be seeing BOH a few times i've been listening to them for the last two weeks to get familiar with their catalog i like them alot ..
I was pretty impressed. May have to pick up their CDs. I really like the southern rock genre (big surprise) and they had a little Crowe in them if you know what I mean.
Last night was my first time to see them
live. They were really great. I guess I was expecting something a little more laid back but they rocked! They played Funeral which was amazing. I love that song.
As for the new songs, maybe I should listen to the album before I judge too much but I wasn't all that impressed. It seemed like they were moving away from the southern rock / countryish twang they had going which is what made them different in the first place.
so the people who have heard infinite arms already, are you still listening to that crappy leak that came out about 2 weeks ago, or is their another version out? As I said, I heard song 2 whatever that is on the record, on a really bad quality rip and it was atrocious quality.
been a fan since the beginning. Never thought they would work with PJ but seems like they have. Seeing them for the first time at MSG as they never played Adelaide before this year. Can't wait! Holding out to hear ode to LRC.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

Okay, so I really like this, but then I viewed a few more vids and it was all slow. :?
I have a feeling I may prefer the earlier stuff, but will have to give it all a listen. I'm working on getting a ticket to MSG II, so hopefully I'll get to see them live.
I saw them for the first time the other night in Cleveland. i've never heard anything by them before that night. anybody know what their setlist was in Cleveland?

Their album cease to begin is still their best in my opinion, but you should check out the song funeral on youtube or whatever before going to see them because even though that is on their first album it's still my fav song by them.
They are really good live so don't miss em when you see pj.

finally listened to a high quality rip of infinity arms. i do enjoy alot of songs off the record. compliments is great. laredo is great. but it isnt immediate like their past 2 album. you hear the funeral or detlef schremf or window blues for the first time and its pretty immediately love and first sight with this band.
but i saw them live for the first time, maybe a little less than a year ago, and they played a ton of songs that ended up on this record. it was clear they were headed in a new direction. very country influenced band.
I was somewhat familiar with them, and knew a couple songs before last week, but after seeing them play 3 times at the PJ shows I was very impressed. They were quite good live, better than on record I think. And I was happy that they mixed up their set a little, as I wouldn't want to listen to the same set 3 times in a row. I am sure I will keep listening to them now, and I am happy PJ took them out on tour with them, that was a good choice.
words seem so out of place.

CJ made a thread on there saying BoH were good and he gave a link, i thought it was okay but then i went to the cinema today to see Robin Hood and they play music before the trailers + adverts and i was like this song is good and that i possibly know it from when i went last time. Anyway i tried to find the lyrics so i could search on my smart phone and it was a song from Band of Horses. Had something about a cage in it.

NW Apt and Older are the 2 songs that really shine on the new album. Laredo is a great song but seems like it doesn't belong on the rest of the album. Too mainstream?? I don't know.
Yeah I really like NW Apt., Laredo, and On My Way Back Home stand out for me.

There's three really crap songs on the album, which kind of ruin it a bit. You just need to skip them. When this band are good, they're really good, but when they're bad then they really suck elephants.
Though fortunately they have more good songs than bad songs.
