Ja Rule and in Portland, ME no less. He showed up an hour and a half late and it lasted for about an hour. The performance was the worst thing i've ever seen in my life, not surprising since it was a Ja Rule concertFor every tool they lend us, a loss of independence0

My first concert ever was Pink Floyd at Giants Stadium on the eve of my 16th birthday.
My third concert was Sting at MSG with Branford Marsalis as part of his band and a surprise appearance by Bruce Springsteen to perform The River.
Sandwiched between those two gems would be my second concert, Debbie Gibson (pre-Deborah days) at Radio City Music Hall. In my defense, it was a date and the young lady I was with was a huge fan. Karma got to me immediately though as the burger joint we ate at prior got me so violently ill, I spent most of the performance in the men's room. Additionally, I broke curfew by a couple of hours that night without calling and was grounded for a couple of weeks. I curse both the young lady and Deborah to this day.0 -

I saw GWAR a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. I too got sprayed with Oderus' huge pee-pee...
My most embarassing concert was probably 3T in 1995... I loved them at the time :roll:Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.0 -

Bonnaroo 2008 - they just did not pull it off - there really was no crowd interaction
And I do have another MAJOR confession to make.....I've seen Kid Rock FOUR times....FOUR!!!! I did not pay for a single one of those tickets though because one of best friends thinks Kid is Jesus Christ, so because he doesn't want to go by himself he always buys....I figure what the hell....go to some place memphis or biloxi for a couple of days, get drunk, see a rock show and enjoy myself. I really have no use for Kid, but on his last tour he had Dickey Betts and Rev Run with him doing Allman Bros. and Run DMC songs...pretty cool actually....well aside from the fact that Dickey some so plastered he couldn't even sing...Kid had to take over...I left to get another beer in the middle of his part0 -

Lets just say that I lost something at a Jackyl/Tesla concert. Perhaps the most disappointing night of my life.
The fact that you didn't list it first and had actually forgot about it proves how disappointing "HE" was....0 -

Jackyl put on a pretty tight show actually! It was a drunken blast!

Floyd at Giants Stadium! I saw them there too, 1994. GREAT summer for shows...
Another commonality is that my most embarrassing is also Debbie Gibson... It was like 1987 and I saw her at Seton Hall University in the gym...
To those ripping VH, and Roth / Cinderella shows as embarrassing...for shame...0 -
I saw David Lee Roth at the Sheboygan County Fair in Plymouth, Wi. THe stage was built in front of the grandstands on the front stretch of our local 1/4 mile dirt race track. I guess I'm not as embarrased to say that I went as much as he had to be just playing there. 300 people...maybe? They played "Jump" and he did some sweet scissors kicks though."In certain trying circumstances...profanity furnishes a relief denied even to prayer." - Mark Twain0

My list is way too long, but some of my most "embarrassing" concerts would include Chickenfoot (damn good show, however), Poison/Cinderella/Dokken/Slaughter all on the same bill, Rascal Flatts (the best thing about this show was that it was at Wrigley Field and our seats were out on the field), Taylor Swift (awful - never again, but this was at a music festival, so it wasn't just her show alone), Tone Loc, Britney Spears (our tickets were in the pit right in front of the stage, so I had some good close-ups if you know what I mean). Needless to say, I've taken a lot for the team in recent years and have been put through some utter misery all along the way.
Can't wait 'til my next Pearl Jam gig, which will be on May 1st at Jazz Fest!!!United Center (Chicago): 8/24/09
Gibson Amphitheatre (Los Angeles): 10/7/090 -

My buddy dragged me to AFI once....terrible
They had 4 bands open for them, which we're all terrible punk/emo bands, then they came out and played a whole 45 minutes and left. Horrible music and horrible show. Pretty sad that the best part of the night was Alice in Chains songs over the PA system in between bands.0 -
