  • way back in 1990. David Lee Roth, Cinderella and Extreme. The Knick seats at leat 12.000 and 9000 of the seats were empty.

Awful music and thankfully PJ came along and saved us.

I'm not really embarassed about any show I've purchased tickets for. I could maybe say Kansas at a county fair here in Utah, but in all honesty...that show kicked so much ass. Plus, I successfully snuck down to the front row.

But, I do remember seeing Styx and the opening act was Nelson...

    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
    8/23/09 - Chicago, IL

    9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
    9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2

I have no embarrassment for any of the shows I've attended. Took my sister to see Jason Mraz last summer, loved it, and I've seen Hootie and the Blowfish twice. I actually love Hootie! Whatever. Live music is live music. Unless it's rap.

  • I also saw Nickelback, but they were part of a festival lineup before they were famous. They played at 3 on a Sunday afternoon right before the Headstones!
    Gimli 1993
    Fargo 2003
    Winnipeg 2005
    Winnipeg 2011
    St. Paul 2014
  • I love all the honesty... and no complete haters!
I also saw REO Speedwagon a few years back at our brewery's summer concert... I'm not going to lie, a guy with a guitar is ALWAYS a good time... In my book.

Ahhhh ok here we go I guess. It was Creed at the mecca or whatever they call it now.

Went with 3 other friends and we drank and smoked the whole show. So I guess that was fun. lol

Second show would be I paid $90.00 for 3rd row LIVE tickets. Live the band. I just turned 21 and well enough said. lol

    The Spice Girls.
    Nice shirt.
  • My very first concert. I saw New Kids On the Block at Busch Stadium when I was 10. That was right before PJ and Nirvana changed my world. 8-)

Really?? I was there though a bit intoxicated and remember it being pretty much a fan-inclusive show. Perhaps I need to listen to the boot again...

And I do have another MAJOR confession to make.....I've seen Kid Rock FOUR times....FOUR!!!! I did not pay for a single one of those tickets though because one of best friends thinks Kid is Jesus Christ, so because he doesn't want to go by himself he always buys....I figure what the hell....go to some place memphis or biloxi for a couple of days, get drunk, see a rock show and enjoy myself. I really have no use for Kid, but on his last tour he had Dickey Betts and Rev Run with him doing Allman Bros. and Run DMC songs...pretty cool actually....well aside from the fact that Dickey some so plastered he couldn't even sing...Kid had to take over...I left to get another beer in the middle of his part
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
