i think there are three categories of PJ fans

1. Hippie pothead types
2. Frat boy types
3. Dorky professional thirty or forty somethings trying to hold onto their youth

At one point or another, I've been all three. Currently (and probably for the next 15 yrs) in category three. Who am I leaving out?

I'm a strict vegetarian of about 18 years, was captain of the rifle team in high school 15 years ago. I have a pony tail and own a high-end retail business. I've played drums for about 25 years, but never enjoyed playing in front of people. I wear a rolex, but a $19 pair of shoes.

    Which category do I get?

i think you probably fit into that third category even though you aren't thirty yet. any of us can probably say we only listen to bands pre-1998/2000. and who isn't snarky? :)
  • well, and there are fans like my friend steve:

The details of my life are quite inconsequential. My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15-year-old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims, like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring, we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds. Pretty standard, really.
