    I may not sound like it... but, I'm pretty conservative. I do not believe in political party agendas and believe that FOX News paints conservatism with an ugly color.
    I didn't leave the Republican Party... the Republican Party... Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld, Condoleezza Rice and Paul Wolfowitz drove me away. Mostly when they went to bed with the fundamentalist Christian Coalition of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. As a Conservative, I strongly oppose a theocratic government. Focus on you own fucking family and don't tell me how to run mine.
    I also do not believe in American Global Imperialism camoflauged as 'Spreading Democracy'.

    You can choose not to participate... just as you can choose not to wear a seatbelt when you are driving... choose not to buy auto insurance... choose not to pay taxes... choose to text while you are driving... choose to fire a gun in an airborne airliner... but, you have to understand that you will be breaking the law and you must accept the consequences of your decisions.
    Religion in this country is not the law... and I believe religion should not be the authority to create law. All I have to do is look at the theocratic monarchies and governments of the Middle Ages and the Middle East as examples as to why the church should not be the body that creates the laws for all of its citizenry.
    Legislation should be representative government meant to serve our society... to protect me and the other passengers from you firing your gun in the plane we are on.
    Religion is meant to instill the prescribed view of morality based upon the decisions of religious leaders and their personal interpretations of Holy Texts.
    The Government should not place one religions views as the basis of law to legislate their views of morality for all of us.
    See the difference?
