How long have you traveled to see Pearl Jam?
I know that our group of 5 will be departing from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada on the 26th to drive down to Hartford, then the two Mansfield shows. Going to be a ridiculously fun trip, and worth the 11-12 hours drive down to Hartford.
My question...How long have YOU traveled either in a group, or by yourself to see Pearl Jam? Interested in seeing the responses!

Don't Die Wondering

My friend once went to China from ireland to see his favouruite band..thats about as far away as you can go.

I have friends that flew from Australia to Europe to see PJ last year (that's around 20 hours each way)...several are back on the east coast this year
about 100 people spent about 13 hours on an overnight coach (2 buses actually) from Munich to Katowice last year, having a blast of a time!
8 of us in a rental van drove about 10 hours from Copenhagen to Nijmegen, in heavy rain!
the touring Bus in 06 drove insane distances to make it to the next show in the morning..BEFORE the equipment trucks!
I'm sure there's worse somewhere..
and you'll do the same again when the Frames are opening PJ in 09 right?
Hail Hail.....
and still jonesing for another show....
"the waiting drove me mad..."

You're from PEI? That's cool..just a little drive from here, as you probably know.
Oh I know about the whole traveling thing to see bands! Well worth it for PJ...but for a university lad like myself....it can get tight on funds.
and the fact that when you travel you meet a lot more people who are too!
I'm actually addicted as much to the people as the shows!
Utica...as in utica club/saranc, heard of, listened to and loved it. i know that area well. spent four years a bit south of there
flying fom pvd to lax on friday..furthest i've gone for a show (i know it isn't pj, but it's petty f'n good)
I was home for a visit when they were touring Oz in '06... I flew out of Sydney Nov 6th and they played Nov 7th... that hurt... alot. Job really wasn't worth coming back for... I should have stayed the extra 2 days.
I don't spose I can count that I'm from Sydney, moved to Toronto and now live in NYC as travelling to see PJ... although I certainly get to see them more regularly living over here... well, that's if I finally manage to get MSG tix :(
I certainly want to travel more to see them, just the $$$ stand in the way.
It was hard not to just start following the Pearl Jam tour, but like I said we were actually on our great European Adventure and PJ just happened to be there, too. It was a fantasy come true.
Richmond to Italy in 06
Richmond to Santa Cruz in 08 (Ed)
Seeing the world one great PJ/Ed show at a time
Life changing experience. That was my show number 10!
Looking forward to 4 more this tour.
Would love to have gone to the Ed shows in CA. Hard to travel now, have 2 little ones at home...wishing he'll take the solo tour to the east.

New York to San Fran in '06.
Seeing them in other parts of the country/world is awesome.
I am I live in Calgary right now... but after Vancouver last week I would gladly move there
New Brunswick is always just in the way while trying to get to Montreal or Boston Enjoy the shows
You know this is hilarious. You guys are driving 12 hours to Hartford to see PJ. I live 15 minutes from the venue and I can't even score tickets to the show (shitty lawn does NOT count) so I doubt I'll be going. Something is wrong with this picture....
if anyone has an extra pair in the mid to lower pavilion, I would be willing to pay 4-5x face value. I am getting rather desperate at this point!
