I got one. Used excel. Listed all songs by album in column A. Listed concerts across row A. Put numbers for which song was played in what order for which concert. Got a tally of the total number of times i heard each song live. listed covers and non-album songs under Backspacer. Takes a decent amount of time, but it came out good. :D

I don't have an actual spreadsheet that I keep, but I am sort of guilty of this. I went to six shows last year and after having to constantly tell my friends how different all the shows were, I figured I'd see just how many different/duplicate songs I heard while I was on tour. I think it was a little over 80 different songs (I threw the paper away so I don't remember the exact count). So I'm guess I'm a little bit of a pj nerd... ;)

I've got a decent spreadsheet. The first tab has all songs (PJ and covers) I've heard live in column A, and then columns B through AQ list the shows. I put a "1" in the row with the song name if I heard it at the show. I'm sure there are better ways to do it, but then I can total up in the last column the total amount of times I've heard each song and transfer that to the songs heard summary tab. I've 1,172 songs live and 173 unique songs.

I then have a tab tracking studio songs net yet heard and realistic Lost Dogs songs.

I am most proud (or embarrassed) of the tab where I can instantly find the number of repeated songs between any two of 42 shows I've been to. The next tab then summarizes by show the average number of repeats between a given show and all other shows to see which show was most unique (not really scientific though).
I'm an accountant who is posting at 12:55 am because I'm still at work. Ladies, you probably guessed right, I'm available.

I won't share it for viewing, but in mine, I even color code each song by album (for example Yield is White with Red font where as Pearl Jam is Yellow with Blue font) and also keep track of the number of times I've seen each song as well. Tab 1 is all songs seen live or not seen live and Tab 2 is concerts I've attended w/dates and entire setlists.

I've got one that is very similar. Where I start to fall apart at, is what counts as a song being preformed by PJ, does it require all the band members to be there? At a few shows I've been to there's only been one or two members playing the song for different reasons. The agony. I want it to count, but all my friends think I'm crazy.

    it's your spreadsheet- it counts!!
  • Is there a website that tracks concert stats? I'm also a DMB fan, and there is a fan site (www.antsmarching.org) that allows you to input the shows you have been to, and it tells you how many times you have seen each song, which songs you have seen broken down by album, guests seen, rarest songs, rarest shows, etc. It really is an interesting feature. Anything similar in the PJ community?

I have officially joined the rank of the pearl jam dork community. That's right, I have created a spreadsheet of the shows I have attended. Only 8 shows, but hopefully it will be 10 by the end of may. Actually really cool to see everything I have seen live. The Hartford 08 show was full of firsts for me! Such a great show!

I haven't seen a site that does your pearl jam stats for you. I know what you mean though because I have used something similar for the Phish shows I have attended.
