    After dark I always think you should walk with someone in the city. In groups or with someone you should be fine.

    We're still working on this. We have one option so far but Melissa is going to make some more phone calls tomorrow I think.

    FWIW, the Hilton Downtown St Louis is $96.75 advance purchase through the hotel's website. I bid up to $60 for a 4 star using priceline and came up with nothing.

    Whoa. These are good prices. i've never bid before for a hotel room. Can you select the hotel you want to bid on or does it just pick several for you and you pick which one you want?

    You can't select the specific hotel, but you can select the area you want to stay in along with the number of stars you want. So try downtown area, 3.5 stars, and $45. Good luck!

    looking at the arch now... let me know if I can help with anything. I live near a ton of bars that would be fun to rent out and all offer shuttles. There would also be ample street parking the day of show. I live in Soulard ?Benton Park.

    Market St is what I am talking about. I think. Looks like a can walk from the hotel to the venue using Market St.

    yeah and there will be 20,000 leaving that arena when it's over so plenty of walkers, etc.

    the venue is about 16 miles from the airport. straight shot down highway 70 will get you downtown then its a few blocks west from there. the metrolink will take you from the airport to savvis center or union station for about $1.50 one way. if you stay at the hotel attached to union station or the sheraton across the street from savvis it should be very convenient for you.

    yes its pretty safe, just stay on market st. its like one of the main streets in the city. it would be easy to get a cab from the hilton too as its right next to busch stadium.

    for the riot act tour we all met at the bar in the sheraton. it used to be called jacques, then jacque died, then it was federko's, now i don't know what it is or if it is even open anymore....guess i should have looked before i posted lol... :?

    I got the Sheraton. Thanks guys. Can't beat that deal. $45.00 - $56.39 with fees.

    If this deal hangs around we may not need a group rate, Melissa/Mindi. I hate to see you guys do a bunch of work for nothing.

    Glad everyone is getting in on this deal. It won't last forever. I remember getting a great deal on the Westin last year for the Key Arena shows. Eventually the price went up.
