  • Is there no further info on where the 10c seat allocation is going to be for NYC, I bought tickets through 10c last time they played the garden and was very disappointed with the seats given. I would have been better off buying cancellation tickets on the day which I did a few years ago and got front row. :?

when stubhub and ticketmaster merged there was an agreement that stubhub automatically gets a certain allotment of tickets for shows before they go onsale. awesome, right?

Stubhub did NOT merge with with ticketmaster so that is completely false.

they did not officially merge, true. Ticketmaster and livenation have merged. But it is fairly common knowledge that ticketmaster sells bulk tickets to stubhub before onsales. how else would you explain tickets for sale there before they have actually gone onsale.

For the MSG shows it's probably 2-3 seconds until tix are temporarily out of stock.

Dammit, I'm going to Buffalo, probably the second most in demand show of the entire tour. It wouldn't matter either because I'm 451xxx. Ahh such is life.

The two NYC shows And Boston will be the toughest to pull 10C tickets for. Regardless of your 10C number though, you should still opt for those tickets. They have so much of the venue that if you wait for the public onsale you'll be lucky to get rear view...and you'll be fighting the scalpers just for those.

Its actually common false knowledge. Its speculative selling. Some venues have season tickets and the like so that also applies depending on the case, but when it comes to something of the nature of PJ at MSG its purely guys fishing for sales on a speculative basis. If someone is stupid enough to overpay them for a seat they chase down something either in the location listed or better depending on how much they get a sucker to bite for.

In the whole Springsteen New Jersey fiasco the Star Ledger published detailed accounting of where every seat went and ZERO were diverted to stubhub. Nashville papers published similar details on several shows there, Taylor Swift and I think Keith Urban and results were pretty much the same.

So which one is the PUBLIC sale for the NY shows? Livenation or Ticketmaster? I just went to both and i didn't see it on either one.
