To be fair... there's not much else to talk about on here. Backspacer has been out long enough so that there's not much more to dissect there. Europe is set already and far away....
But the constant starting 10 threads to complain EVERY DAY (rhymes with lawyer) about no dates is annoying. Rumors are fine as long as people know they are only that. And know that if someone posts a rumor with a crazy low post count its probably not the best one to bank on.
Of course this could ALL be helped by the TC posting either 'there are no current plans to add N/A dates' or 'We are still working on possible dates but nothing is confirmed yet.' That would take all of... 10 seconds... yet they will never do it.

but who is dumber, people who start rumors, or people who make plans around them? I say the latter (though it is close). this is the internet. some people post stuff they hear, others just make shit up. take it with a grain of salt and move on. getting angry about it is pointless and probably harmful to your health.
also, think back to 2009, the first whispers we got about Portland and Vancouver were rumors like these. those came true. there were also rumors about Vegas, which didnt happen.
PS: i'll be the first to admit that I need to get a life, but when you spend 12 hours a day in your office, you need to stay sane, and music keeps me sane.
I am at the point that I don't care if pearl jam tours this spring or not?...Every other major band does announce their whole U.S tour all at once..Pearl Jam/Management I guess does not believe in this..
If pearl jam keeps on doing these festivals?..I think we will keep on getting less regular pearl jam concerts in the U.S..

I would love to see them play Merriweather again.....The verizon center isn't the best place to hear a show. Any seat beyond the first deck is just horrible (and that's putting it nicely). One of the best shows I've ever seen them put on was at Merriweather (98). The 00 is a close second....
Plus I love outdoor venues.....The VA Beach show from 08 was soooo f'n fun!
