All of them good shows. All of them personally excellent experiences.
If I had to choose one though....... I would choose Buffalo 2003. Besides the setlists and the crowd... there was really something special about that show that I can't quite explain. And even when you listen to the bootleg.. it all comes back.

Interesting. It would def have to be one I attended. Hartford 98 (my first) is up there but it ended early. I'm gonna go with Hartford 2006. Ed was loving the crowd that night even though it was cold as hell.
Interesting choice. I was at he 98, 06 & 08 Hartford shows. I thought the 98 show was excellent. The 06 was average to me. But to me, the 2008 Hartford show ruled. It was, IMO, the best show of that tour. I have a bootleg of the 96 Hartford show, i wasn't there but it seems like an excellent show.
This is incredibly hard to do because I have been very fortunate to have seen quite a few amazing shows. If I had to choose 1, I would choose Mansfield 2003, night 3 (2 sets). Was there and was an amazing show. Here are some other shows that I like are:

I've never listened to that show. I'll have to give it a listen since you both really like it. Actually, I haven't listened to many of the 2000 Euro shows, but i used to listen to both of the Katowice, Poland shows and those are really good shows.
Another awesome show is Red Rocks 95. Actually, both shows were awesome, but night 2 specifically I like. Would have been even better if they actually were able to finish Ship Song. Also, the song Fallen was played for the 1st & last time, unfortunately. Falling is a great tune. I'd love to get the studio version of it. You can see Fallen on one of those tapes when you look at the right inside cover of Lost Dogs. They should have put it on there.

I have to say that as my 10club # number starting paying off and my seats got closer and closer the shows kept getting more and more exciting and special.
