Yes, I would much rather drive to philly to see them in a place with better sound, like the spectrum again, but that isn't gonna happen, and I said if they did end up playing at montage I would be there in a second. Camden yards, the one in camden, you know what I mean, the horrible susquena bank center. And seeing Cal Ripken Jr. play with pj would be awesome!
I live in Wilkes Barre which is 15-20 minutes from Scranton and Montage, from here Philly is about 2.5 hours, with traffic if you're lucky, cuz there's always traffic.
I really really hope pj does NOT play at Montage, sound sucks, and it isn't the nicest venue. Now on the other hand if they played at the now - Mohegan Sun Arena in WB, that would rock, sound in there is great, great venue, but it's smaller, think Kitchner in Canada... Also why wouldn't they play Saratoga again if there were looking for something smaller. And I think they would play Camden yards again or Mellon Arena in Pitts, or Albany if they were in the area, they could easily sell any of them out.

You are the dumbest Pearl JAm alive. Mohegan sound is terrible and only about 1/2 of teh crowd would fit if that. Montage is an EXCELLENT venue- out doors- Just like camden without the surrounding murders.

LOL. Maybe they will play there when their 70. I love the Sherman because it's close. But I think the No Code tribute band would more likely play there.

For what it's worth. Just called a radio station in that area (98.5) and the guy who answered seemed really surprised when I asked about a possible PJ show. Not that he would let it leak if he knew, but he was pretty emphatic that they had heard nothing about this. I would love for Montage to be the place, but if the Memphis on May 4th and Buffalo on May 10th rumors are legit, Pittsburgh/ Cleveland/ State College might be more on the way for them.
He did, however, say to tune in Monday for an announcement about a band "almost as popular as PJ, but not as old"....thanks

If you are going to call a radio station, don't call 98.5 KRZ. They haven't played PJ since Last Kiss was popular. I called 97.9X. They didn't hear the rumor. So, we'll see.

I spoke to her today and she was really suprised it didn't happen. No ones more dissapointed and surprised than me. Maybe Nobilsville outbid Scranton /State college...Who knows.
