Dodger spring site sucks. I was really disappointed. They built that facility under the new management group which meant it should have been a palace like the cubs new place, which was amazing. The fucking dodgers ripped off our garlic fries also which pissed me off. I ate a dodger dog so I can crap a dodger out later today as my revenge. Tons of Giants fans and we had a group of young guys from the bay area who flew to LA, rented a car and drove out to catch some games sitting next to us. Lots of high fives and mocking dodger fans in their own facility. It was a really good time overall.

Susac is off to triple a along with Strickland, Perez and others. This means Lincecum will be the 5th starter as Sanchez is his personal catcher. Its better to send Susac down and let him play everyday while they figure out what to do with him. He needs to become a regular somewhere, even if it means trading Belt and putting him at 1st. I really like Belt but Susac is better. Surprisingly Heston wasn't optioned yet as I was hoping the Giants would do the right thing and give him the 5th starter spot. I suppose he will be in the last batch to get sent down. Two races for final roster spots are on. Machi and Kontos for the final reliever and Adrianza and Duffy for the second utility infield role. I think Machi gets traded and Adrianza wins out as he is the better defender. Arias will be the main utility defender. The biggest story is Maxwell going from non roster invitee to big league. Its only temporary until Pence comes back but nice story.

Sometimes guys hit a level of competition and it is just too gooed for them. Gary Brown was that to me. He just could never figure out tripple a pitching.

Red Sox will regret the signing. Supposedly he has an agreement with the Red Sox that he is an athlete and knows what weight he should be at so they can't dog him for whatever weight he chooses. Fat ass will balloon in 2 seasons when he isnt front page news anymore. Then back to the 110 game seasons for all the foot and ankle issues like before.

I can't believe the Dodgers are that high. Did they not learn from the Yankees ar do they think sucking for 7 years is ok to get 1 WS. I would rather go Giants route and try to build a unique sustainable model. I will try and find the article I read a couple of weeks ago where Evans opened up on why most scouts/talking heads never like their prospects yet we always have Crawfords, Belts, Bumgarners, Cains etc coming up the pipleline. They have a new moneyball theory in a way. They are valuing goal setting skills and intelligence a lot more highly than any other team. Their theory is talented players who have long term goals, are smart and hard workers will improve better than more talented prospects who don't have those abilities. I got to say the proof is in the pudding right now with 3 in 5.

So far as Brown the Cards can have them. I get it was worth it to them to give him a shot but I figuered it would be someone like the Phils who are just starting rebuilding.

in a nutshell, bam bam emphasizes making contact over everything else, in this age of 100 mph hurlers....he takes a pitching machine on the road because road batting cages generally don't have them.....he cranks it to 90 mph and guys take, say, five swings, move up, five more, move up, etc....apparently, Pagan is king of that game....could explain how the Royals bullpen couldn't completely shut us down.
